Just passing through on a motorcycle trip and we needed a place to spend the night. The Ontario Inn looked ok so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Nothing fancy but all the rooms have been recently remodeled, it was clean, and the price was right.

Hotel's Favorite
We stopped here as a midway point on a road trip. It was friendly, clean, and newly remodeled. It is a basic motel with basic amenities but has such charm. Breakfast was great too. Fluffy, the resident cat, really made the stay special. For a couple who misses home he was welcoming and so sweet! We will stay again anytime we pass through Ontario from now on!

Right away I have to say I would give 6 stars if it was possible! Local motels that are not part of any big chain are usually a gamble, sometimes you get a dump and sometimes you get a jewel. This motel is certainly the case no.2! I messed up the booking (wrong dates) yet the receptionist was super nice and helpful, nothing was a problem. The rooms are recently refurbished and they feel very nice - big, comfortable beds, flat screen TV, fridge and a microwave, and a walk-in shower in a very nicely furnished bathroom (thumbs up for the fancy toiletries from a local dispensary, they have pleasant scent!). The room felt more like staying at a house of a friend than in a motel - pictures on the walls, sturdy lamps on nightstands etc. The whole motel has a very casual, homey, retro, quaint atmosphere, it is not big and you can even walk to the well-maintained garden. The whole place is proudly pet-friendly and here comes the extra star for me - the cats!!! Especially the giant, white-red cat male named Fluffy who can be found at the reception most of the time, waiting to be pampered by the guests :) He is such a wonderful, unique addition to the welcoming feeling... Also I have to mention surprisingly yummy breakfast - normally you find a box of donuts at similar motels at the very most; however here they have giant muffins of various kinds, fresh fruit, bagels, granola bars etc.. Really nice. The stay was spotless, I am already looking forward to the next stay when passing through the ares.

Old school motel. Reminds me what my parents took us back in the 60's and 70's. This motel worked out just perfect for our one night stay on our road trip to Oregon. It has all the amenities one can ask for such a short stay. Clean and cozy. Our room was spacious, beds were comfortable, nice bathroom (though the shower stall is a tad small). Very dog friendly motel with their "backyard" setup so that they can do their business. Bags are provided so that you can clean after they are done. Close to grocery stores, convenient stores and a few restaurants.
