My husband and I came to spend the week of Thanksgiving during Covid! It was delightful. Our room was clean and cozy. We love the Western room. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to be accomdating during these weird Covid times. We will definitley return. It would not let me mark excellent above! Thanks Peggy!

I tried writing a review on Moolack Shores Inn's FB page and it was deleted. Hoping this one doesn't get deleted. My husband and I stayed in the Oregon Room four nights October 19 through October 22 ( 4 nights). We booked our room over a year ago. We were not aware that the Oregon Room had not been remodeled. It was an assumption that it was with the photos that were online. When we arrived we were sorely disappointed that the room had only had the floors done, a new refrigerator and the paneling in the bedroom had been painted a screaming yellow. Also the doors on the closet were removed and the extra single bed had been removed from the bedroom. We have been doing to Moolack for almost 35 years and had spent our honeymoon in the Oregon Room. So to see the room had not been remodeled was a disappointment. The heating system didn't work correctly and we were so cold in the mornings that we had to turn it up to 90 degrees. A drawer in the kitchen was ajar and couldn't be placed into the slot. The wifi didn't work in the room. We were told by the person that was in the office that it was that way up and down the coast. Well when we went out the front door it worked!!! Come to find out the person working in the office was a fill in and she didn't know very much about anything. So on to the remodel. The video shows that a lot has been done and it was started the week after we stayed there. The bathroom tub needs to be recovered and there isn't a dresser in the bedroom. Also a DVD television is in the bedroom and we would think that it should be in the living room. Nothing was touched in the bathroom. Same old tile and the ugly green tub. There isn't anyplace to put toletries. Dropped by Moolack yesterday (November 29) and spoke to the property manager. She said the person in the office when we were there is no longer there. We were told that the room has been completely remodeled as well as all the other rooms. We have told the property manager that we will skip coming back for a year in hopes that all the issues with our favorite room have been dealt with. We will miss staying in the Oregon Room in 2021, but will try again in 2022. We love the location and the room, but what we went through during our stay was just not right. It would have been very nice if someone with the company would have told us that the room was to be remodeled the week after we were to come there and we could have rearranged our stay. Rachel was the person who we dealt with and she was a very nice person, but our reservation that we asked her to make for October of 2021 was never made. Glad that she is gone and that Peggy is running the property once again. Thank you Peggy for our nice long chat yesterday and offering to help us in any way she could to have us come back.

The customer service from Rachel (Raquel) was amazing! She was so outgoing and friendly. We stayed in the Nostalgia room. As for the place itself, it is an older building with very thin walls. We were able to hear the family with crying babies next door. The bathroom did have hairs that looked like body hair not from the head all in the shower and in the corner of the floor of the bathroom. We were told that the rooms are sanitized thoroughly, but we could see where they did, leaving very unattractive smears on the backboard and on other things in the room. The decks or balconies are not private at all making a few moments out there awkward with other guests. There were so many flies that eventually all gathered around the sliding door window. Our room did have a woodstove that we got to enjoy. There was no table really to eat on comfortably. This place is located right off the beach and was given easy access to. If your looking for a quiet romantic get way this might not be your place. But we might give it another chance since there was a crazy storm the last time we were there preventing us from enjoying the beach.

Stayed for three nights at the end of October. Spent two nights in the safari room and one night in the Hawaii room. Amazing staff and wonderful views. Have access to five miles of private beach. The decks provide some of the most amazing views of the ocean and we had amazing weather the weekend we stayed. The Hawaii room has the best views of all of the rooms. Will for sure stay again. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the quirky themed rooms were a lot of fun.

Stayed here with my wife.....our room was not clean at all. It did not look like it had been swept or vacuumed. The view was the only good thing and that could only be enjoyed on the patio as the windows and window seals were filthy dirty. Hair and soap scum in the shower from previous guests. Glad we only stayed one night and moved over to The Hallmark Inn which was lovely. Onsite management team was very rude. We will never go back...and we have told all of our friends so they do not get suckered into this over-priced dirty HOE-TELL.
