Nice coastal park for being in the city. No beach access, but great place to stay if going to Newport. Not far from state parks and beach access; but you will have to drive. Awesome view of the Newport Bridge (Yaquina Bay Bridge). Stayed there for the Newport Seafood and Wine festival. Outstanding location for traveling with a group for...

If this park would allow you to live here full time this is the park we would choose. Love the fact every site is paved and pretty level and NO mud when it rains. Depending on where you park you get amazing views of the Bay Bridge and the Marina. It was windy many nights that we stayed but only...

Nice park, very windy when we were there. Busy park close to many attractions. My experience here not good as I ended up in hospital with a suspected heart attack. thankfully it wasn't! We stayed here in a 37' motorcoach, but wouldn't return.

We stayed here for one night and we made our reservation online. We got there after hours and our names were not on the late arrivals list and there were no information for the facilities available. Luckily you choose your space when you reserve online so we knew were to go. We got spot 34 because on the map it...

First off, I have to say we've stayed at various State parks in and around Newport but always considered the RV park under the bridge to be a "last resort". That said, we decided to give it a try on our most recent visit and were we ever surprised. As many have said, it's a parking lot ... but a...

We spent the last two months up and down the coast. We would look at the trailers parked under the Newport bridge and think it had to be noisy. Not at all. The highway traffic is a distance swish. Nothing from the bridge - even standing underneath. It provides a lovely backdrop to look at. The park is like most...

We have been to this RV park 3 times. Our latest visit found the park to be not as well maintained as in previous visits. Weeds have overtaken each site, although this RV park can't be beat for location to Newport sights. The bathroom facilities were clean, laundry area adequate, although pricy, and some of the machines didn't work. Found...

The rate was great and the spot we were in was tucked away out of the wind. Very nice place to stay and very close to the Newport Aquarium. We stayed in the gravel units by motel 6 while our friends stayed in the paved units by the marina. The RV park where the paved units are is a Good...

Short drive over bridge to historic bayfront of Newport area for shops and restaurants. Aquarium very close to RV park.. Sites have some grass or brush dividing sites but no picnic tables or fire rings. Our sewer connection was broken and difficult to secure tightly. Easy to maneuver 30 foot RV into pull through site. Site was fairly level. Satellite...

The park is in a great location. Sites in the main park are fairly close to each other, but well laid out, all paved. The "annex" is all gravel and grass sites, but more spacious. The best thing about the park is the Camp Host, Clay. He knows the town, the sites, the restaurants, what to do, where to go,...

“We stayed early in the season. Suggest calling ahead to reserve space during the high season because it fills early. Don't forget to visit the Newport lighthouses and the Rogue Nation Brewery. The brewery is walking distance from the park.”
