Our luxury condo style hotel on the Oregon Coast overlooks Agate Beach and the Yaquina Head and Outstanding Area. Your home away from home, units can be rented for the night, a week, or more. Our condos are all split-level 2 bedroom units, equipped with the following amenities: King master suite with full bath and 2-person jetted Jacuzzi tub; queen guest bedroom; full guest bathroom; business class WiFi; living area featuring private balcony with ocean view, gas fireplace, HDTV with cable, and full-sized sofa with pullout bed; Captain's study viewing nooks with ocean views; fully equipped kitchens with service for up to 10, and dining area with ocean views! We have only six beautiful units, all with unobstructed Pacific Ocean and Agate Beach views! Our private beach access trail is privately maintained year-round and is illuminated at night. Our beautiful gardens, park with lawn games, 2 large propane grills, and fire pit with all the fixin's for S'mores make our location a great base camp to see the many State Parks and other sites in the Newport area. I won't repeat all of the accolades that other reviews have shared - I'll simply confirm them. Starfish Point has become one of our favorite destinations (if not the absolute favorite). Aside from the fantastic location and lodging and things to do, the hospitality of Barrie and Mario is second to none. They are great people and want guests to have a great time. Same is true for the support staff - as evidenced by them going above on beyond on a previous stay when my rental car battery was dead. Despite my not wanting to inconvenience them, they insisted on going to get get their jumper cables from their house a few miles away and came back to save the day for us.

What a Wonderful place to Relax and spend time on the Oregon Coast! We have always enjoyed Agate Beach & the area around Jaquina Head Lighthouse. This time we wanted a place which had a jacuzzi, a fireplace & a full kitchen. Condo #6 was all that & More! The Kitchen was Fully stocked with every appliance & utensil we needed. I especially liked the plug in hot water pitcher. We brought all our food in a cooler, so during Covid we didn’t need to go out to Dine. The Sound system was great to Bluetooth our Pandora to every room with excellent sound. The TV & Roku worked well. Condo #6 had two levels of Captain’s view octagonal lookouts which were so Cozy. The Jacuzzi surrounded by candles made for a Romantic soak. The Bed was also comfortable! And 2 side porches were nice for private morning cups of coffee outside. The Public porch was also welcoming & added a nice ambience. We didn’t take advantage of the Firepit, but would do so in a non Covid time. Last of All, because this was our 15th Wedding Anniversary, they offered to provide a little treat....We walked into the condo met with a Card, a Lovely bouquet of Flowers, Bubbly in the Fridge, and a quite Lg charcuterie plate of cheeses, meats, olives, pretzels, crackers, berries & Dark Chocolate. Plus a Cheesecake! ❤️🥂☺️ Thalia & Josh are excellent managers and the ground staff was also cheerful. The Pet area was convenient & wash down for Pets & boots on the beach access walkway worked well. We hope to come again!! With Friends & Family!😀

We've been coming here for years and it gets better each time. The staff are amazing, the rooms unparalleled, the grounds and gardens are immaculate, and the location can't be beat. You will not find a better place anywhere on the coast! It's a boutique hotel so you avoid large crowds and the rooms are so spacious that even if you have family staying with you, you still have space and privacy. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, you won't find anything better!

What a phenomenal place! We were able to snag a unit last minute and WOW! It's the nicest place we have stayed on the Oregon Coast and we loved that it wasn't Airbnb. Every window in our condo had a fabulous view of the very private beach and adjacent rock formations. It's a quiet place, all you can hear is the ocean. The beach is wide and sandy and you're on it in a minute via a path and stairs. Private parking lot is free and close to the units.Our two bedroom, two bath unit was absolutely spotless and well equipped, right down to a vase of fresh flowers and a s'mores kit for the nightly communal fire! The upstairs master had a huge jacuzzi tub. The downstairs bath had a walk-in shower.Soap, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover wipes and body wash are provided along with lots of plush towels. There is also a sofa bed that we didn't use. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need to cook.Coffee, coffee filters,sugar and creamer are supplied for the drip coffeemaker. The lobby has a "lending library" of spices and oils. Salt and pepper are in the unit along with dishwashing detergent and tabs for the dishwasher. Each bed had tons of pillows. There is no AC but you don't need it, the ocean breeze keeps it cool. There is plenty of comfy seating throughout the unit. TV has a DVD player and there are free movies and books in the lobby along with a small gift shop and some necessities like sun block on sale. There is a big chest of beach toys and they even supply beach towels. They allow dogs with an extra fee, no cats. The location is superb! Just a five minute drive away is a lighthouse (with fabulous sunsets!) and amazing tide pools where we saw whales, harbor seals, starfish, and more. You're also minutes from several stores , restaurants and supermarkets. The grounds are full of flowers and there's a BBQ grill and picnic tables. The management is super! We needed a high chair and a USB plug which they supplied immediately. We're already planning to return next year! Oh, almost forgot about the gas fireplace which would be nice on a chilly night. Our unit also had a seating nook with big windows that gave us 180 degree view of the ocean, and they even supplied binoculars to spot whales or the bald eagles that nest close by. This place was full of delightful surprises and no problems whatsoever. Kudos to the management. PS - the only thing you need to do when you leave is load the dishwasher and run it. Nice change from Airbnb where you get charged outrageous cleaning fees and still feel like you have to clean it yourself so you get a good rating.

My husband, daughter and I stayed at Starfish Point August 1-4. We arrived earlier than check-in, and although our condo wasn’t quite ready, the manager offered to put our milk in the fridge and offered us some beach towels to enjoy the beach while we waited. Twenty minutes later, we were in! The views from condo #5 are the best. The unit was spotless and fresh cut flowers were in a vase on the coffee table. We spent many hours sitting in the “captain’s watch” looking out at the beach and the ocean. Any time I went into the office for something, she greeted me by name. My husband and daughter enjoyed the nightly fire and family games in the well-kept park on the property. We’ve been meaning to stay here for years and I can’t believe it took us this long.
I am already planning our return trip!

This review is provided by Satchel, the World's Best Dog, who stayed at the Starfish Point Condos last night with his parents: "Woof! We had the best time at this condo. Usually, when I travel with my parents, they are really dissatisfied with the accommodations provided for people with dogs. Personally, they seem OK to me, but my Mom says the furniture is often ratty and they smell. BUT ... not Starfish Point! It was sparkling clean, and I would know if it smelled like OTHER dogs had been there, but no way! Plus, even I can tell it is really beautiful, with very nice carpet, the only thing I'm allowed to lay on. My parents said the bed and linens were very luxurious, and the the kitchen is extremely well equipped, and my Mom should know since she is a chef. The best part for me, though, is the really fun walkway down to a beach that we literally had ALL to ourselves. My Mom also appreciated the paw washing station and the doggy towel we were given to clean me up after our beach adventure. I went inside and laid on that really nice carpet and just stared at the ocean from the big windows. Plus, the owners were super nice, and I can tell that sort of thing. It was really the nicest place we've stayed on the Oregon Coast, and I hope we get to go back soon."

Starfish Point has it all! Fantastic views and beach access (stairs and path that were easy to walk), fun activities on the grounds in the evenings (fire pit, s'mores, yard games), condos are very clean and have everything you need for enjoying your vacation without having to bring all your own supplies! We stayed in Unit 6 and really enjoyed our stay. Sipping coffee with that beach view every morning was icing on the cake! Office staff were very kind. We'll be back!

The views were stunning, the beach was so beautiful and, the waves sounded great. The staff are so nice and helpful. The units were perfectly clean. The park is great, the perfect place to relax and have fun with your family. There are yard games, a swing, a fire pit with marshmallows, chocolate, gram crackers, and the flowers are really beautiful. There are also two grills on the new out side decks over looking the beach. There is also lots of beach toys for guests to use.The park and beach paths are lit up at night so you can have a nice walk at night. there is also a large selection of movies, games, books, and spices. The kitchen was great and the dining room had a great ocean view. The jacuzzis were giant and never run out of hot water. We went crabbing and we caught a lot of crab and when we came back the staff helped us cook are crab in their crab cooker. We were able to bring are dog because starfish point is pet friendly. The beach was huge and tide pools, hiking trails, and a lighthouse are in walking distance. The staff also let you use crabbing gear for free. If you are planing a trip this is the place to go. There are only six great condos on this private property. If you want to go on a trip this is the place to go!

Our little family of three stayed here for the second time this week (first was same week last august). We absolutely love this place. Every unit has numerous immaculate views. You can literally watch the sun set from your jacuzzi tub. Very family friendly but not overly loud. The rooms are cleaned extensively between guests. Bonfires every evening with s’mores provided. Can’t really ask for more. The only catch I see is the price, which is high for the area but for the size and quality of the actual room you get, as well as the experience, I think that the price is fair.

Condos are beautiful with a great view. Access to a great beach is improved but still steep, may be difficult for seniors and small children. Staff is very friendly and helpful, wanting to make good memories. Adequate parking.

Hi Dan. The rates vary depending on type of room, time of year, and days of the week. Staff is available over the phone 9am-9pm seven days a week, or you can see rates for your specific dates on our website. All 6 of our condo's are smoke free!!! All 6 of our condo's are pet friendly. You would not know it though... We are VERY strict about our pet policy. Our condo's get rave reviews for being spotlessly clean. We have never had an issue with people who don't have pets staying in our condo's, and we get lots of non pet owners staying here! We have a $25.00 per pet per day fee, and a pet policy. Mainly keep them off the beds, off the furniture, on leash on property, don't leave them unattended in the rooms etc... We love our dogs!!!

Most things are quite close to Newport, some as close as 5 minutes others more like 20. There are many wonderful options for dining in the Newport area. We hope you will visit soon
