We stayed three nights here in July, just in the run up to 4th July. The B&B has two self-contained suites, with access to a deck that overlooks the harbour (and the 4th July fireworks). The room was cosy, clean and comfortable and Bill & Cheryl were fantastic hosts. Newport is a great little town with some terrific restaurants and... More

Another great stay with Cheryl and Bill... Always a great stay. Great raspberry crepes for breakfast! Walking distance to the beach and bay front. Factory outlet short drive to Lincoln city. Experience the bay front experience. Sea lions are comical to listen to.

We enjoyed our return visit to this beautiful B&B. Cheryl is the most wonderful hostess. She was able to accommodate my food allergies, which makes her B&B stand out for her. She provides a warm, lovely home, very welcoming.

Fell in love with Cheryl over the phone. It only got better once we arrived. Great Christian atmosphere with a host that is totally engaging and interactive with her guests. Great view of the harbor from your room. Everything you needed was at your fingertips. Beautiful home that is very clean. The breakfast was amazing. Can't wait to go back!... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this charming B&B. Our room was spacious & comfortable. Cheryl went out of her way to make us feel comfortable & pampered. Breakfast every morning was delicious! The view of the harbor from our room, the deck and the main room was wonderful! Newport Bay is a quaint town... More

From the friendly welcome to the spacious, well-appointed room and wonderful views the Lightkeeper's Inn is a great place to stay. Located on a hill overlooking Newport Harbour and the delicate and beautiful Newport bridge this B&B was welcoming, clean, well appointed and relaxing. The delightful host was friendly and knowledgeable, and couldn't have done more to ensure our stay... More

Scarcon:It is a Christian home, with a large bible on display and bible quotes on the wall.It is not mentioned by the innkeepers in their description. We feel that religious beliefs do not belong in public areas of an inn.It doesn't recognize the different religious and spiritual beliefs of the guests. It is a wonderful place to stay, with two large suites... We enjoyed our two night stay at The Lightkeeper's Inn. Cheryl made us very welcomed and our room had fabulous views of the harbour and bay. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the wine and snacks provided. We had access to the laundry room which was much appreciated. Highly recommended B & B.

We took the LIghtkeepers Room at nearly the last moment for a quick overnight away. The rooms are in the basement of the home (built to the purpose recently) and overlook the bay font. A seep hill walk (fine for the healthy) will take you down to many restaurants and attractions. The light keepers room is chock a block with... More

We loved our stay at the Lightkeeper's Inn. We stayed in the Lightkeeper suite and had a wonderful view of the bay. Cheryl and Bill were the ultimate hosts and the breakfasts were phenomenal. Cheryl ensures that any and all dietary requests are met. In addition, to breakfast snacks, popcorn, soda, water, wine, and hot beverages are offered around the... More
