This B and B has the most amazing view on a very quiet dead end street with the Pacific as the neighbor. Very close to the Yaquina Lighthouse Park and other area attractions. Dee took very good care of us and made super recommendations as far as local restaurants, if fact one of them, Local Ocean, we went to three... More

What a great find, with excellent views and a path right down to the beach. Dee was a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable. The room was spotless with great amenities. Coffee in the morning and wine and homemade cookies at night are always available. The breakfasts were to die for! Don't miss out on this place!

We selected this B&B based on the strength of Trip Advisor recommendations and weren't disappointed. Dee accommodated us at the last minute (and was able to extend our stay by one more evening). The space is impeccably clean, breakfasts are superb. I'm not much of a chit chatter at breakfast, but they were so good (meaning = delish). All rooms... More

Stayed here in late June of '16 mid week. We had the place to ourselves one of the nights so we were treated like royalty. The views are spectacular and the extra touches made the visit so special. Stayed in the Chinook room, great size, comfortable bed and oh those views. Delicious home made breakfast.

The friendly host/owner Dee was very helpful; provided me with wonderful fresh gluten-free peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip for my husband, wine and helpful dinner suggestions. The view--upstairs,the best of the ocean and grounds. The breakfasts were marvelous: fresh cherries and blueberries, smoked crustless salmon Quiche, tasty potatoes, juices and wonderful coffee on the 2nd morning. Beautiful room and... More

Great views, breakfast was awesome, room was very clean and comfortable. Friendly owner with good dinner suggestions. The beach access was very convenient for peaceful secluded strolling. The waves crashing made for a peaceful nights sleep. We recommend the Tyee Lodge and will return someday.

I totally loved my (unfortunately only one night) stay! Such a great location - right by the sea, quiet, with wonderful views. There are fireplaces in the rooms, which also add a lot to the athmosphere. I was lucky enough to have eggs benedict for breakfast and it was the best I ever had - I am a serious foodie.... More

We received a warm friendly welcome from the owner, and given cookies and wine. Our room was very good with lovely views. The shower was excellent, breakfast very good. Close enough to walk on the beach. Contrary to any reports on here, the dog was very friendly and you are asked if you would like to be introduced. My only... More

What a find! I read reviews on at least 10 bed and breakfasts on the northern Oregon coast and happened to book Tyee Lodge. From our welcome (fresh baked cookies and coffee, soft drinks or wine--always available) to recommendations on places to visit and eat, to the wonderful rooms (all with ocean views) and outdoor Adirondack chairs to enjoy the... Tyee lodge is a small B&B just about 10 minutes drive north of Newport. It is about a block west of the highway on a dead-end road. All of the rooms overlook the ocean and the Yaquina headlands, where the National Park Service maintains the lighthouse. Our room was spacious and comfortable. From the house a path leads down to...
