Tranquility, natural beauty and comfort. With excellent food service, spa and fitness on site. Near everything wine related! Highly recommend if you're in the area whether you want to rest and relax or stay as a homebase for local exploration!
One of the best “luxury” overnight experiences we had ever had. Beautiful facility. super comfortable room, amazing staff, and all of the little “extras” that make you feel special. Spa was great. Well worth the price. Can’t wait to go back!
The Allison will always be structurally delightful but the bones need some new throw pillows and an area rug. It’s really starting to feel dated. The art is a little too inclusive-the style is undefinable, blurry. Food wise-it’s old. Need vegetarian options, a broader menu in general. This is my third stay since it opened, it was novel and special early on, but it has been many years between stays and I thought it would have improved. The spa facility itself is still great-though quality of services aren’t particularly. As the only option of its kind in the valley it will continue to be popular but as a weekender from Portland, I’ll be heading a different direction next time.
This resort hotel has it all dialed in. The grounds and hotel are in excellent condition. It is warm and welcoming. The staff are all exceptionally well trained and friendly. You can count on a great drink at the bar, a good wine list and a delicious dinner. You can even get a massage
We spent 3 nights in January '23 at The Allison and found it amazing! Staff were very helpful, positive & enthusiastic. The Jory for fine dining was superb both in waitstaff and food. Guest room was spacious and well appointed with many fine touches. With a location right in the heart of the Willamette wine country and not far from Portland, it has the best of both worlds: laid- back country/wine tasting and city resources. For celebrating a major wedding anniversary, it was the perfect place!
Had to make a last minute reservation for my daughter's 18th birthday and an awards ceremony, so we could sleep half way home to shorten the drive after a late night. The Allison, though booked out online, was very accommodating when I called in person and had a room available. We did not book spa appointments but were able to use the amenities and gym at no extra charge. This was very nice as often in the nicer hotels they charge you for even using the sauna and steam room. Really appreciated the comfort level, ease of check in and check out and last minute accommodations from the staff for the Sunday brunch.
A friend and I enjoyed our one night stay with a visit to the spa for two different treatments. The first treatment, a facial, was wonderful. The second spa treatment was the deep forest escape. My friend and I both felt skill was severely lacking in comparison to the facial treatment. The skill felt entry level with a premium price. We enjoyed our visit to the spa, but wouldn’t recommend the deep forest escape.
The Allison Inn is a beautiful inn and spa in the Willamette Valley wine country. The rooms are warm and cozy and wonderfully spacious and the perfect home base for all that the Willamette Valley has to offer. The Jory restaurant and bar are outstanding 5 star facilities in both the quality of food and the attentiveness. We have had both New Years Eve and Thanksgiving dinners at Jory and are always impressed. The Jory Bar is a great place to unwind with a nice drink and snack in front of roaring fire during the cooler months. My wife always visits their wonderful spa whenever we visit and considers it a must when staying at the Allison. The Allison Inn is the perfect spot to begin and end each day of outstanding wine tastings in the Willamette Valley and for all those special occasions and holidays. …
This was my second time staying at this beautiful place. The staff is lovely and always welcoming. I will always recommend this place to friends and i can't wait for my next stay here or appointment at the spa.
My husband and I spent NYE weekend here after for an easy pampered get-away from Portland. This was a last minute decision after cancelling a vacation in SoCal due to travel/weather nightmares. What serendipity! We loved the rooms, the ambience, the food and chance to explore wine country, which we had never really done before. Highly recommended.
