Honestly hands down a hidden gym for a quiet couples get away. Suitable for a family as well this lodge in Netart is breathtaking. You need to map out North from here for a overall experience. I recommend the loft with kitchen and the fire place gives a great touch. Beach access along the beach is incredible and blackberry bushes to snack on.

We stayed here for one night mid-May while on our way through Washington state at the start of a month long roadtrip. I really wanted a few oceanfront stays but without breaking the bank every time, and the Terimore allowed us to do that. It’s located in a little quiet town on a quiet part of the coast and there are so many lovely places to stay, but we prefer small, independent, quiet & affordable and that can sometimes be tricky to find. The location of the motel is fab – peaceful with great views of the bay & a little local shop or two within walking distance. There’s not a huge amount in Netarts, but there is a beautiful bay to walk along, a few places to eat further into town & some wonderful sunsets, and that’s all we needed. The Terimore is an older, quirky property with different types of rooms/accommodation available on its plot next to the bay. We opted for an oceanfront on the top floor and it was very affordable compared to lots of other options close by further up or down the coast. It’s worn but clean, older style but comfortable and we had a very warm welcome by the owners, who obviously love the life they have running the motel & grounds. When we stayed, there was going to be a power outage the following day, which they very kindly came & advised us of after we had checked in – it didn’t affect us as we are early risers when travelling but we appreciated that they wanted to keep us informed of any possible issues that may have affected our stay. The beds were comfy (twin queen beds in a decent sized room with a balcony) and we especially enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the sunset & listening to the Pacific ocean. We slept well & enjoyed an evening stroll on the beach (as there is access down from the motel but it’s a fair few steps and a bit of a feat if you have any mobility issues!) But it was worth it and it’s a lovely beach with lovely clear & sheltered water. I’d stay here again if we were travelling down the coast for sure.

We planned to be there one night but liked it so much that we stayed for two and found ourselves in a more spacious room than we'd had the first night. The lodgings that we saw were basic but adequate. The location is fantastic, including a stairway down to the beach and an area with seating across from the motel where you can whale watch, bird watch, wave watch and watch the sunset every evening together with a small group of locals who chill there as well. Wine is always an ice breaker!

For our trip along the Oregon Coast we did not have lodging reservations since it was off-season and during the week. We found Terimore Lodging by the Sea on a google search. I called, it was about 5 p.m. and we were ready to stop for the day. We chose this place because it is on the ocean. We had room with an ocean view and a balcony. The room was clean but the furnishings a little dated. We felt this was a very good value lodging. Chris, the desk clerk, was amazing!!!!

We were so disappointed in this motel. Run down, dirty, grass and weeds by the entry, dead flowers in containers outside the room. Door handle was loose and we fixed it. Desk inside was missing both drawers. Coffee was supposed to be provided in room. Pot was there, but no coffee. No coffee cups. No safety bar in the bathtub, and no safety mat for tub. We shared our concerns with mgr who told us owner was out of the area and was not attentive to this type of issues. After being gone for the first day and evening , we arrived back at the room around 9pm and found dirty towels still in the room, trash not emptied. A call was made to office and we were told that we needed to empty our own trash. No extra trash bags in the room for this nor was these instructions posted in the room and we were not told about it at check-in. It did not appear that any room service happened the first two days we were there and calls from us did not change this. We did receive clean towels once. Lamps were falling apart, and blind on window was difficult to operate. Such a disappointment as we had looked forward to having a nice experience here.
