This was a great place to stay, and our favorite on our trip of the Oregon coast and wine country. The location is a small vineyard. Sue and Neil were wonderful. Though we had not scheduled a wine tasting , Sue graciously did one for us with charcuterie. The wine was a wonderful surprise. Unexpectedly, the four of us liked it all Definitely an up and coming winery! The rooms were very comfortable, the only downside having to share a bathroom. The breakfast was a continental serve yourself.. We'd definitely come back.

We stumbled into Bluebird Hill Farm Winery & B&B on a trip to the Portland area. When we realized that we had an extra two days to visit wine country, we found this amazingly good winery that also has a B&B. The owners are great and the surroundings relaxing and fun. While there, we joined their wine club, so will get reminders of what a great time we had in our two days at Bluebird Hill Farms. Definitely will return when we visit the Portland area again.

(Sorry for the title, Henry VIII.) Visited Bluebird Hill Cellars B&B for our second time at the end of July 2018. The major difference was the weather; first time in 2017, it was a cold and snowy March, this time it was hot and dry July. Otherwise the cordiality, service, and accommodations were as wonderful as the first time. We were met at the car door by the official greeter, Gus, a black lab mix, and Willie, a Aussie mix, the new boy. There was an earlier review that said this was not a "dog friendly" place, but to me these are the friendliest dogs you could ever meet. You must know that this is a working farm, and these are working dogs, so please do not come out with your dog and expect not to be confronted. Please call ahead first. I was informed by owner Sue Shay that they do allow service dogs, but be sure. I have two rescue (big) dogs myself, and want everyone to be safe. That being said, we had a wonderful time over our long weekend. Bluebird Hill Cellars wine is developing very well, and was still at the top of our list after visiting several of the local wineries. This is the heart of Oregon Wine Country, and you can make yourself crazy (and tipsy) visiting the local tasting rooms. It takes some traveling around, but there are good guide maps available almost everywhere. We will be booking our 2019 return stay soon.

We were greeted and treated with the highest degree of hospitality at this new up and coming vineyard! Both owners spend time with us, educating us on the wines of the area, Bluebird Hill Cellers, answering all our questions. We toured the estate, tasted everything they bottled and then when we treated to two barrel tastings! A truly lovely way to start our 32nd annual staff wine tasting and luncheon.
