Beware: there are LOOTERS working Medford’s Inn at the Commons parking lot. I own the responsibility for losing thousands of dollars of property left in our car overnight during a visit in September, 2020. Our car’s windows were pried open and screens slashed and the adjacent car’s window was bashed-in during burglaries that occurred directly under the hotel’s closed circuit security camera (CCTV). The rummaging by 2 men was recorded for “almost an hour” and went unreported. When I spoke with the manager on duty, he simply explained, “There are looters working in the neighborhood.” A bash & grab would be horrible enough but a pillaging occurring under the hotel’s camera lens feels worse. As hotel management knew looters were a possibility, any warning would have been appreciated. We have stayed here over many years but won’t again. This year it came at too steep a price due to criminals whose presence is known to management and burglarized us without consequence.

I’ve stayed at this location several times in the past and have had good experiences, but this time ... well, I’ll NEVER be back. This hotel is housing Covid positive patients under contract with the County and not disclosing that to regular patrons. I found that out while I was there on a recent stay. The front desk staff in the evening told me the could not help me obtain a cab (who has ever stayed at a hotel or motel where the hotel refuses to help you get a cab?), there are homeless people living under the hotel along the greenway, we tried calling the front desk over ten times when the people above us were very loud at night but the front desk never answered the phone. A private security guard approached me outside of my room to ask if I owned a rogue car that was parked in the middle of the parking lot, not in any spot, that had been there all day. We left at 11 PM to find another hotel, no joke. A hotel that didn’t have Covid positive patients, homeless people, and general riff raff. We were rudely contacted by the manager who explained that they have “no control” over what happens on their property. Truly outrageous.

one toilet barely adequate in flushing ability and comfort. We had looked forward to the large whirlpool tub experience, but we labeled it " skuzzy!". An apparent epoxy recoat was badly pealing and chipped, the non skid bottom was non existent, there were no grab bars to facilitate entry or exit, and the wall mounted mirror looked like a a police interrogation room 2-way. A second wall had another mysterious dark glass panel that may once had been a lighting feature, but now was just spooky! The separate shower had a head that was loose and very hard to adjust. The room was quite clean except, disappointingly , the louvers on the two wall HVAC units were filthy to the touch. Had we not cleaned them ourselves, the fan would have circulated that accumulated dirt in each room!

Room is nice, older property in downtown Medford, walking distance to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. A fair amount of traffic noise from the freeway. Beds were soft, breakfast more of a to go bag now with new COVID rules. Pet friendly property

While this was definitely an older property, the experience was good. We were able to secure a 1st floor room, as I had a person who needed a walker to get into the room. The room was clean and the wall unit got super cold, which is how I like it. Overall the experience was good. The only real downside to this place was the location. This doesn't seem like it's located in the best part of town. The staff at the front desk was super friendly and the gal who checked me out when I left was super chipper and had a great attitude. I would recommend this to others, just be aware of your surrounding if you're leaving the immediate hotel area.
