We came to this Rodeway Inn looking for a good value hotel in Medford; we found that and more. This is not a fancy hotel, but we weren't expecting or looking for fancy, just clean and comfortable, which this absolutely was.
First of all, pricing was most reasonable. It's probably because this isn't the most high-class part of town. There are lots of pot shops, pawn shops and some homeless folks nearby but the hotel itself and its immediate area was fine. You just may not want to walk around the area at night. However, we could park right in front of our room and there was even a convenient Dutch Brothers across the street.
The bed was awesome, extremely comfy with warm blankets, especially great because it was a bit chilly when we visited. The room also had a very comfy armchair, so comfy Mrs. Cuddles fell asleep in it more than once.
The shower was warm with reasonable water pressure. The room has an ironing board, fridge, microwave, and a desk with chair. The room also had a good number of outlets that you could actually use, including USB ports.
Breakfast wasn't overly fancy but met our needs. There was cereal, bread products, yogurt, coffee, and juice. The breakfast dining area was small but comfortable, separate from the front desk and set back a little, so there wasn’t anyone coming through except other guests.
All in all, we were extremely pleased with the value we got for our money here. It provides an excellent base camp from which to venture forth and explore the rest of Medford.

It had been awhile since I stayed at this motel , I have always enjoyed staying at this hotel in the past , on my drives to and from Seattle area and Reno
The hotel is a classic motor lodge , where you park your car in the parking lots direct outside your door
The motel owners have done lots of upgrades to the rooms , building lots and other building
I had king room , that was nicely updated , comfortable bed , big room and nicely update bathroom .
Upon arrival , you will see that parking lot is surround by the motel building , so you park your car in a inclosed lot.
The staff / owners were very friendly and out going and I could see that they have put time and money into up keep of their motel
I had a wonderful stay and will defintely stay again
One final note Medford has lots of brand name Hotels , newer , fancier and yes much more expensive
The rate for rodeway inn was very reasonable and great value
Definitely a great spot to stop for the night when traveling on I-5

This classic motor hotel has been very well kept up. Everything around the property and the rooms themselves are kept clean and tidy. Our room, a king, was spotless. The room came with a refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer along with a flat screen TV. The king was very comfortable and provided several nights sleep. All the linens, bath and bed, were clean. There were no issues whatsoever with any of the items provided in the room. A small breakfast (cereal, fruit, yogurt) is provided that can at least get you on your way. We have stayed at this property several times and it has always been a pleasure to stay there.

So much for trusting inexplicable high ratings. We took a chance. This was a mediocre, run down motel. The one large chair in the room had fake torn leather and was bare in many spots. We were afraid to sit on it. The air conditioning was the loudest we had experienced and went in and off all night. The towels were so thin and old they reminded us of travels in Eastern Europe years ago. We looked forward to breakfast but were disappointed in the coffee that was supposed to be bold. Everything was cheap…weak coffee, watered down orange juice, powdered scrambled eggs with no meat or potatoes. Signs were plastered all over the walls telling guests they were not allowed to take anything to their room. Why would we have?

Room was clean with a comfortable bed. Nice bathtub with shower, hot water, shampoo and conditioner in wall dispensers, and sink with stopper. Good half-size refrigerator and satisfactory heating/cooling unit. I don't know if all the rooms are on a par. My room was completely satisfactory. The beds were very comfortable. The large overhang was lovely for packing and unpacking in the rain and keeping everything dry. The room was quite cold when we got there because the heat was turned down but warmed up quickly when the heater was turned on.

If you want the breakfast that’s included with the room, you need to be the first ones into the dining area. The hours for breakfast are 7-9am but there’s no food left after 7:30. The beds are comfortable and there’s a fridge and microwave and laundry room but don’t expect breakfast unless you’re an early bird. Otherwise, the property is fine for an older motel and the area seems safe. The coffeemaker is a small one that only takes envelopes of coffee.

I have stayed here many times for business prior to the Pandemic. Came back in February and while the rooms are clean and quiet, the new management does not keep the facility up like the previous manager.
Another issue is the breakfast offerings. While they still offer waffles, fruit, coffee, juices, etc, the service is less than adequate. One day no butter, the next day no syrup, then watered down juice.
I stayed in room 122 and the shower head and wall had been damaged.
The rooms seem to be about $20 more than 2019. I understand prices have gone up, but at this facility the prices have gone up and the service has gone down.
Thus, my rating for this motel has gone down from 5 stars to 3 stars.

Only stayed one night, but it was really excellent. Especially the bed which was pleasantly firm and much better than ours at home. Our room was clean & in very fine condition, heat/aircon worked well and the outside vehicle roof would be particularly good for motorcyclists. Will stay again. My wife enjoyed the breakfast very much (I don't eat in the AM). Also, the tap water was the best tasting of the past 7 different regions, by far.

Sorry, we do not have shuttle service to airport
I stayed at Rodeway Inn on Riverside Ave, Medford (highly rated) and had great accommodations and customer service. Both times in November 2020 was excellent. There are 2 Rodeway Inns in Medford.
