the location is perfect right downtown, walking distance to everything. The space is deluxe with large kitchen, sitting area and bedroom. Depending on which flat rented it can be noisy given older building and wooden flooring. we found the beds to be too soft
We drove easily , in about an hour, from the Portland airport to this town that is the heart of the Oregon wine country with over 700 wineries in the surrounding hills. Third Street is walkable and pleasant, containing cute retailers and good restaurants. Third Street Flats are inside the historic McMinnville Bank building, belong to the Atticus Hotel where you pick up your keys, and each flat has its own personality and decor. The flats are complete, with living, dining, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, so perfect for a few nights or longer. Romantic and well-priced, we will come back. The decor is cozy, historic and charming.
Disappointed with the quality of the room. The hotel location was okay. Near the Main Street and lots of restaurants. The bathroom was okay not clean and there was almost no space to set toiletries and get organized. Shower had cracks and dirt and the sink had cracks. The living area was spacious and so was the kitchen and dining but there was no soap or a trash can anywhere. The AC unit was on the main side of the room so the bed area did not maintain the same temperature. Overall the room needs to be improved and deep cleaned. The smell was so intense I was unable to get any rest and woke up with severe allergies.
We truly enjoyed the 2nd Flat at Third St. Flats. It was a large and wonderfully decorated apartment above what used to be the bank. When we return to McMinnville we will stay here again! Also, the complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates were delicious!
Great place to stay and relax after a day of wine tripping. Beds were very comfortable. Enough room to spread out. Walk to restaurants and bars on Main Street or cook in the apartment. Lovely outside seating area where you can drink a bottle of wine you just purchased.
