We loved how clean this place was, with new windows and plumbing, while still feeling like a cabin. We thought they must vaccuum the walls, because we didn't see any bugs, dust or cobwebs. What a great place to spend a long weekend. If you aren't sure what to do, the owner can guide you to excellent biking, hiking, boating,... More

My boyfriend & I took a 10-day road trip from Santa Barbara, CA to McKenzie Bridge mid-September & it was one of the best vacations we have taken. We stayed at Cedarwood Lodge for 5 nights. Our first day was rainy, which we really enjoyed by building a fire and renting a movie from the local store (no TVs in... More

Perfect cabins located right on the river and surrounded by endless beautiful trees. Everything was very clean and every time I go, the couple running the lodge are always more than accommodating. Very relaxing area and a perfect spot if you're looking to get away from the busyness of life (who isn't?). Closely located to a golf course, restaurant, hiking... More

Beautiful wooded setting. Comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen. I was just there for 2 nights. It would be a great place to stay for a week or so. Mckenzie Bridge has ready access to wonderful hiking.

It's only because of my deep fondness for the Giorgio's that I'm writing this review, because my less-than-proud self-interested side wants to keep as many people as possible unaware of this blissful, nirvana-like establishment and their over-the-top wonderful hosts/owners. So read this review, believe everything I'm writing, but don't go the first week in July, okay? In all seriousness, I... More

Thank you for the great review! We have corrected the problem by posting 'private' signs on both sides of the cabin. No more unnecessary intrusions on your privacy. Thanks again! More

We were initially booked at a different resort some distance away, but when we got there it was simply too bare bones for us. Luckily for us, Cedarwood Lodge had a vacancy, and we were so pleased with our cabin that we will likely come back here again. Cedarwood has a small group of cabins, all fairly close to the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our most recent visit to Cedarwood Lodge after flying our oldest son and his girlfriend from San Diego to enjoy Oregon. It was our 6th time, I believe, we lodged at Cedarwood in the last few years, and, as always, was perfect. Mike and Carolyn keep the property and cabins in perfect order, and have anything you... We love the Cascades, but Cedarwood Lodge is one of the main reason's we come year after year to this area. The first and foremost is the fishing is fabulous and some of the best small waters I have fished to date. The second is the quiet relaxation of staying right on the McKenzie River in my own little piece... More

Our family has been visiting the McKenzie Bridge area for nearly half a century. We were lucky enough to drive on to the Cedarwood Lodge grounds one day in 1996 and we have made it our second home. Every cabin has its unique personality and we have stayed in every one of them over the years. Mike and Carolyn are... More

We have been coming to Cedarwood Lodge for over twenty years. Our sons literally grew up here during our many summer vacations. Mike and Carolyn and their wonderful children, Holly and Anthony are like family to us. Many many delightful memories. This past May tops them all. Our extended family, fourteen in all, rented all but one cabin for a... More
