My family acquired the largest suite in the lodge at a very reasonable price during the off season. We used the full kitchen to make our meals, which was great--we even baked baguettes! The place sits on the side of a hill, allowing for a scenic overlook upon the river, bridge, and the other half of Maupin. It was very...

Mike runs a great lodge home. The Oasis is for a quick stop and the Imperial is overpriced. If you get lucky enough to find a vacancy here from May-Sept, jump on it. Even better during the off season when no one's around!

This was a very nice, quiet lodge. We stayed in the Wapinitia room. It was quite cool mid October but we opened up the window to hear the Dechuettes River. That was relaxing. The room is well equipped with coffee, tea, and cocoa, microwave, refrig. We were greated with 5 deer up on the hill one morning leaving to sight...

We weren't quite sure what to expect, but we were pleasant!y surprised! Mike, the owner is very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and homey. The bathroom was also clean. The free breakfast was simple, but very good. There is a very large kitchen that is free to use as is the BBQ grill on the deck and...

My two sisters and I arrived and were immediately offered help with our luggage by others staying here. Such friendly people and our room was beautiful. Fresh ground coffee, a full kitchen and great prices. I highly recommend the River Run Lodge.

Reservations were a breeze, was emailed a confirmation and then a second reminder with check in details came right before we began our trip. I was so surprised by the place! It was new, clean, plenty of room and didn't feel like any corners were cut. The kitchen and all the common space was amazing! It was as close to...

I go to Maupin for the Deschutes river. There are a couple places I have stayed the night at. River Run Lodge is one of them. Quaint, comfortable, and close to the river. Large family lounging area with tables, refrigerator, wifi. Rooms are comfortable, especially the Wapinitia/Box Car rooms upstairs overlooking the river. Once after a little mix up with...

Stayed here 1 night after rafting. It is a very clean and comfortable place with reasonable price. The breakfast is continental self-service with coffee, juice, tea, yogurt, fruit, toast, bagels......more than enough for the morning. It also has a nice outdoor sitting area when weather is sunny. Room seems to be remodeled and is quite nice, bed is comfortable, bathroom...

Made late reservations for weary travelers in my family. Mike has that "Nordstrom" and down home customer service. He was so accommodating, welcoming and they LOVED their rooms and the lodge! Highly recommend! Thank you, Mike! Tamara
