Detailed Reviews
This was a special trip as this was the first time we took our lab with us. Coast Cabins made our trip warm, comfortable and easy. The cabin itself is fully furnished so there is everything you need to make your stay very simple. The location is ideal as it sits on the main street to the beach which our dog enjoyed tremendously.

We have stayed in several of their accommodations over the last several years. All of them are squeaky clean, in good style with upscale furniture and extremely well stocked with everything you’d need. Manzanita is a low key and REAL town. We know we can rely on a wonderful experience here.

What an amazing hidden gem on the Oregon Coast! We stayed at Seaclliff Cabin which is a gorgeous home perched on a hill just above the beach that gives you incredible views of the ocean and Neahkahnie mountain. The photos don't do this house justice! It's kind of a modern Scandinavian design with tons of beautiful woodwork and modern furnishings inside and an amazing spa patio behind the house in the woods with a hot tub, sauna, outdoor shower and a lovely covered area for sitting and cooling off in -between soaks and sauna sessions. The house is stocked with everything you need for cooking and luxuriating while you're there. The layout of the house is super cozy and inviting and the whole time we were just pinching ourselves that we found this amazing retreat. The staff are super conscientious and accommodating and they provided us with wonderful snacks and sweet treats and wine. They have really thought of everything. We can't wait to come back!

Overall, the location and cabin #2 were as expected and pics shown, minus the saturation. Cute little room with small half kitchen and bath to play up the glamping feel in a pocket oasis on the main road towards the beach. I planned to stay for a couple of nights but left early since I wasn't feeling well. One of the reasons was due to the smoke from the communal pit sneaking into my cabin. I was hoping that I could enjoy the ocean breeze with all windows open, but unfortunately that wasn't what happened. Instead all the smoke was free flowing into the room. The pit was burning all day since I got there at 2pm (although no one was at the pit) and until the late evening when I took off. On top of that, the pillowcases were still wet from what I can only assume was laundry since I had just gotten there. The worse part was that the sheets not only smelled unwashed, there was a big darkish stain in the middle of the bed. I wanted to enjoy the stay but with the smoke inhalation and poor smelling bedding, I became nauseated and had to leave. I didn't ask for money back or a discount because I figured I booked, but there should be some warning about the constant all-day smoke coming into the room when the windows are open, especially for those who have health issues. Also, may want to use more detergent for the sheets so they smell clean.

Dear Lo H, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay in cabin #2. We appreciate your compliments on the location and the accurate representation of the cabin through our website. We were sorry to hear that you were not feeling well and suffer from extreme allergies, but the request to extinguish the communal fire pit and all private wood barbecues on the entire property for the duration of the Memorial Weekend was not possible as there were many guests enjoying the amenities. Our fire pit is a well-loved feature of our property, positioned on the far end away from cabin 2. It is displayed prominently on our website as a featured amenity. In regard to the bedding concerns you mentioned, we assure you that our housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work, ensuring that our crisp, white, organic, hand-pressed linens are fresh for every guest. If there were any issues with the linens, we would have promptly addressed it had we been made aware during your stay. Again, we thank you for your feedback and hope that you felt better on your trip back home. Warm regards, Kerry D General Manager

What a lovely place! We had extensively read the reviews before booking because of the strict cancellation policy and this place did not disappoint! The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked with every piece of equipment you might need (measuring cups, immersion blenders, coffee grinders, etc) and is impeccably clean. There are even 2 desks (one in common area, one in 2nd bedroom) for those of us who were "working from home."
We had a small dog with us as well and the small touches were so sweet - a bed, towel, and water/food bowls all nicely set up.
Will definitely visit again!

This was a lovely place. We stayed in cabin #2, which was the only one available and is ADA compliant. The setting is elegant MCM. The owners and manager have thought of everything you might want for a perfect vacation. Despite the Winter storm raging outside our first night, we slept like babes. It helps that the cabins are back from the beach, though still an easy stroll away. You are welcomed with a basket of treats and a glass of wine. Beds and pillows are perfect, We are still cautious and not eating in restaurants, but no problem, because there is excellent takeout nearby and all the dishes you need. The French press coffee was excellent and espresso is also available. We will be back as our only regret is that due to inclement weather, we couldn't really enjoy the beautiful landscaping and lounge around outside.

Put simply, Coastal Cabins hosted a perfect experience for us. Secluded & peaceful, the cottage was clean & stocked to anticipate our needs. Our cottage and outdoor space was private & included a hot tub, sauna, dining area & lounging area. A fire pit was close by where we could warm up & make s’mores (kits thoughtfully provided along with an assortment of snacks & fruits). The mattress’ were comfortable & beds were made up daily with quality linens. Restaurants are limited for dinner and the ones that we wanted to eat at had short hours & required reservations. “Yolk” restaurant has the best breakfast & we would have eaten there more but the waiting list was so long that they turned down customers at the door. The kitchen was well stocked with the appliances & cooking utensils that we needed; there was two grocery stores within walking distance. I plan on visiting again, this is a charming & friendly community & we’ve found the perfect place to stay.

Loved all the little amenities provided: snacks, fruit, flavored seltzer, welcome glass of wine, nespresso maker + pods, hot tub, etc. There is bamboo (and plenty of other plants) throughout the property and great privacy for each cabin and outdoor space. Elizabeth was very friendly and helpful and welcoming.

Love this place - we try to book a visit every year. Clean and upscale accommodations and management top notch. I highly recommend. If visiting Manzanita for the first time, know there aren’t many restaurants with outdoor seating that allow dogs if you’re bringing one. All coastal properties have excellent kitchens so fun to cook and heat up takeout😊

This place is incredible! Can’t believe how many times I’ve driven by and never noticed it. We stayed in the Modern Ranch cabin, which was exquisite! Beautiful modern design and luxurious touches throughout. The detailing was extraordinary……I mean where else will you find a full set of All-Clad cookware in a beach rental?? The outdoor space was to die for, wraparound decks, water feature, multiple sitting areas, lovely hot tub, grill and tons of privacy. Normally we like to be a little closer to the beach but we just LOVED this location, one block from a grocery store, easy access to the main strip in town and we loved our walks to the beach. Manzanita is so fun to walk around in. This place gets 5 stars and beyond, I can’t recommend it highly enough! I am already excited about staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Coast Cabins!
