We have stayed at the D Sands many times thru the years. Just spent 7 days again and had a wonderful stay. The staff is really nice, the rooms are great and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchens are stocked well for cooking, even salt and pepper. Flat screen TV, nice couch. we have stayed in several different units...

We always stay at the D'Sands on our autumn vacation to the Oregon Coast. This year we were particularly impressed with the friendly desk & maintenance personel. Our condo had been newly painted, remodeled with new kitchen appliances, flat screened TV & even comfortable overstuffed lounge chairs. The price is certainly good. Try it...you'll like it...but leave room for our...

We've stayed at the D Sands several years ago before they remodeled all of their units, and were surprised at what a wonderful bargain they were. We have sense stayed several more times and are thrilled at the bargain they are now that they are completely remade into these wonderful condo apartments. Quick and easy check-in with a friendly staff member and assistant who helped with luggage to our third floor King Suite. Wow! Our view was out of this world! We could could see forever, up and down the beach and far out to sea. All the kites flying and people beachwalking, like a picture postcard! We even had a balcony...

Have stayed before and liked it but this visit was different. The first night we froze because our heat did not work. Workman fixed it the next day. Then after having wifi access the first night that did not require a password ( as noted in literature in the room) it suddenly stopped working. The front desk said yes wifi...

We stayed in one of their Family Suites. Very spacious and comfortable, the couch was great. To bad we only stayed here one night. Should have spent our entire vacation with this as our base. Most definately will return next time on the Oregon Coast. Very clean. Yes the hotel is older, but obvously has experienced a well done remodel. Right...

Updated review - I heard such great things about this place and was disappointed overall. The good things - GREAT views of the coast, clean and central location. The bad things - the road noise from 101 was very loud, front desk staff was unresponsive to noisy neighbors saying "we can't control our guests" ( really? ), and there was...

Great location on the beach, much more spacious than a hotel room. It caters to families so can be a bit noisy, but nothing that kept me from sleeping or that woke me. Quick and efficient check-in and check-out. A good value.

We had three nights of virtually no sleep thanks to NOISY neighbors. D Sands staff was not helpful while we there and ignored the email I sent after returning home.
