It was a great experience. Wonderful beach access, very clean and comfortable room, and the pool/hot tub is very relaxing. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. It's also nice that it's centrally located to a lot of great restaurants.

My husband and I loved staying at this hotel, we stayed on the third floor on the very corner and it had amazing views!.. The hotel was very quite and polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone to take their families too or enjoy as a couple! I would return to this hotel!

D Sands is always great - we have gone there for decades. I resent having to review something over and over and over. It lives up to the advertising - spa and indoor pool great but no inside hallways so you could get cold/wet getting to and from. Easy easy beach access. View rooms, comfortable beds, clean and nice.

All rooms have a Ocean View, Motel right next to a small State Park with the shortest river in the World. Most rooms have a gas fire place. The cost is a little above average cost of a room in Lincoln city, but it is well worth it.

I was unsure about staying at D Sands but my husband insisted. We were looking for something right at the edge of the beach with a view. I was afraid the room would be dated and run down. I was wrong! The room had recently been painted and updated. It is by no means fancy but clean and fresh and...

My favorite part of this hotel is everywhere I looked I can't figure out why I haven't stayed here before now. I talked to Deb twice, once in person and once on the phone, she's just so sweet and helpful. We could litereally lay in bed and watch the ocean! I didn't want to leave,so I know I'll go back. We loved...

I stayed here September 11, 2016. I always drive past it on my trips between Newport and Lincoln City. This time I stayed a night and boy I'm glad I did. The unit was spotless, equipped with any and every thing one could use in this one bedroom condo. The view from my balcony was completely unobstructed right on the...

A group of 8 of us were able to stay here for a long weekend- with unbeatable prices! It is directly on the beach, perfect for viewing the beautiful West Coast sunsets. We stayed on the second level- a room with a balcony that included a few chairs perfect for relaxing, while sipping cocktails and listening to the ocean. The...

Great little hotel right on the beach. First floor has patio with direct access to beach, upper two floors have balconies overlooking beach. Our room had a well equipped and clean kitchenette with a full size coffee maker. They provide two packs of grounds (1 reg/1 decaf) they charge extra for additional coffee grounds so if you drink a lot...

We have stayed here many times. It's clean quiet and located right on the beach. Has good parking off the road. The staff is very helpful. Also has a pool for rainy days. Close to shopping and good restaurants.
