We had an interesting one. We got there and stayed in the Jay cabin which had 2 beds in it. What you have to know and understand about this pace is that you have no wi-fi, no tv, no cell (I have verizon, possible a little on the dock) and your heat is chopping yourself the wood for the wood burning... My family and I have been going to Paulina Lake for over 25 years and consider this a piece of paradise. The owners are happy to see you return and will help with any concern. Unlike other resort owners, Karen and Todd have taken a large part of their profit over the years to upgrade the resort. Between natural disasters,... More

Just got back from a three day stay and we had a wonderful time. Plenty of snow and the owners and their family were very pleasant. Great views and the cabins and amenities were more than adequate. Our five year old enjoyed sledding on the slopes between the cabins and snowshoeing for the first time. We hope to return in... More

I've been to the lodge 5 or 6 times in the last decade (usually as a day trip from Sun river where we stay) and have always enjoyed the rustic, back to the '50s feel of the place. It's a decrepit, deferred-maintenance nightmare (it euphemistically describes itself as "rustic"), but we enjoy the layed-back ambiance, relaxing on the lawn by... More

This cabin has the best parking area, access to the lake, and the most incredible view of the lake. There is an upper area loft where squeaky floors and critter holes greet you and the vaulted ceiling provides a great view of the morning sunrise. The main living area is cozy but there are old items that could be removed/replaced,... More

We made a mistake of reserving a cabin without reading the reviews. The bed sheets were disgusting. They did not even put soap in the bathroom so we had to go ask for it. Not a good place to stay when the temperature is 100F.

Evidence of thousands of bats living in the ceiling of "Reeds" cabin where we stayed. Owner became hostile when we confronted him on it, based on the bottles of homemade poison he placed in the rafters and on around the eves of roof, he very clearly knew how bad the problem was and still rented it out. I work at... More

Stayed here with a large group to snowmobile for a long weekend. The terrain is really great for that but the lodging not so much. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of options during the winter and this place is pretty booked up because of that. The cabins are kinda divey with really bad old used a lot furniture, the beds... My family and 2 other families came to Paulina Lake Lodge for a long weekend "stay-cation". There was a total of 9 of us. The fishing was great!!! My children had a blast and they even caught a few keepers!!! The cabin was exactly what I was looking for!!! A piece of the past with some newer features. The Bathroom... More

We love the Lodge, the lake and the people that run it. The cabins are beautiful and many of the bathrooms are a dream to use with multiple shower heads and great tile work. We love to spend our summers their fishing and staying in the lake cabins. In the winter we love to snowmobile and the beautiful scenery. The... More
