Since becoming a Thousand Trails member, I've noticed one glaring flaw at their resorts. The maintenance staff at most of them is invisible. Such is the case with this resort. One whole section is closed due to electric problems. The bathroom, especially the shower area, looks more like a prison shower than something you would find at a resort and...

We go down to Lake of the Woods and get a cabin annually to go ice fishing. My son looks forward to it every year! Cabins are always nice and clean, staff at the Marina is always friendly and helpful. This has turned into a family tradition that we cherish and look forward to. And one of these summers we...

We were looking for snow, and a quiet and nice place, and we got all of them! The people of the Resort were really nice and friendly. The cabin was really clean, and we had what we need to spend two beautiful days. We wished we were staying for a whole week. We will come back!

We stayed 3 nights in RV site #16, a nice pull thru site with full hook-ups and a partial view of the lake. (Next time we'll request #17, just one site closer to the lake) We ate lunch at the Marina Grill and our burgers were delicious and huge! It was the last week of the season so not crowded,...

Had a wonderful day and 1/2 at Lake of the Woods Resort. A lovely setting on a beautiful lake. The property was in pristine shape and everything was well maintained and up to date. We stayed in the RV park. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the dinner we had at the lodge was excellent - with a...

First time visit. The location is beautiful. We didn't eat at the restuarant, but did visit the store, which was very nice and had supplies for fishing and camping, boat rentals, etc. The best time to visit is after the kids are back in school, as it wasn't very crowded. We can imagine how busy it must be in the...

Stayed at LITW in our 24 ft RV not one of the cabins, although the cabins looked darling and comfortable. The RV camping had spacious areas with full hookups. Lots of trees and shrubs to provide shade and additional privacy. From our site we had a partial view of the lake. It was a very short walk to the baths/showers/laundry...

Stopped by on a cold rainy morning in October for breakfast on our way to Medford. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and immediately ordered coffee to warm up. The coffee is very good, strong enough to please me but not too strong for Clyde. He ordered ham and eggs and I had French toast. Both breakfasts were good...

I rented a pet friendly cabin in late September. Nice north woods cabin, clean, nothing fancy. Mattress could be more comfortable. This is one of my favorite places in the world. Lovely lake side resort with stunning views. The lake is clean, great hiking and walking. Perfect for families.

There are many aspects to the Lake of the Woods resort… The setting and weather were picture perfect. I'm critiquing the quality of the cabins on this review. We recently stayed in one of the two lake front cabin. They were remodeled over 10 years ago and it shows. The furnishings are tired and worn out. The housekeeping and cleanliness...
