My wife and I stay here for a few days each summer. We love the lake and beautiful setting. We rent a slip for our boat and fish every day. We like cabin 14A, a one bedroom unit with full kitchen and nice patio and porch. We pay four-star hotel prices for the cabin and wish we got a bigger... More

I've been coming to Lake of the Woods about 40 years, and the resort has undergone some major improvements. The restaurant in the lodge is the primary change - it's now terrific, and the little bar attached is charmingly funky, very lake lodge, which is why we come! Love renting a canoe and paddling around the marshes, with exceptional views... More

Our first trip to Oregon we did a 3 day stay at Lake Of the Woods Resort. All I can say is wow. The camp ground is absolutely beautiful!!! It has a very throw back vibe to it which makes it even more special. You feel like your taken back to a different time with the marina, the beach area... More

Last week friends from Mexico, No. Carolina, and Washington convened for our third annual visit to Lake of the Woods. This lake is a gem and the concessionaire takes very good care of the cabins, restaurants, campgrounds, marina, and trails. The kitchen in our cabin had been remodeled since last summer -- a huge improvement. Our week at the lake... More

We visit LOTW several times a year for day trips and to stay overnight and it is one of our favorites. We've brought our RV and also rented cabins in the summer and winter. The first cabin we rented was very small but very cute and very close to the live music. Made for an amazing evening by our own... More

My family had a reunion at Lake of the Woods Resort this July. I was planning to bring my boat, so I decided to rent a slip. Unfortunately ended up not being able to bring our boat. I asked if I could get a refund for the slip since I was not going to be using it. I would have... More

We camped there for 3 nights, in our 19ft. trailer. Loved camping with all the tall trees. Enjoyed the 2 restaurants right in the resort. The marina, had boats, paddle boards, and pedal boats for rent, and a great little beach area, for kids to play in. All the staff was friendly, and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. They... This is our third visit to LOTWR, and each time we fall more in love with it. It reminds me of a campground in a movie! We rented a pontoon and enjoyed a day on the lake. There are plenty of local hiking trails nearby. We RV camp and have noticed that there have been more cabins added, which allows... More

We were still in the off season when we visited. We rented a pontoon boat, did some fishing (futile effort unfortunately),and the brave souls jumped in the very cold water. The grounds were lovely, with many birds. Staff friendly and helpful.

Love this resort! Staff is fabulous. The lodge serves fantastic food. And the general store has some really cute stuff. The lake and campgrounds are incredibly beautiful. So much to do: boating, swimming, hiking, fishing and biking. And only an hour from home!
