Boeves cabin is a 3 br./ 2 1/2 bath. cabin on river. Stairway was put together by unqualified handyman. Narrow, shaking handrail, with trap door at top! 1 smoke detector in living room for the cabin. Electrical plug behind half bath sink, non GFI. Pictures show hot tub, not there now. There is no "hb" hide-a-bed. Someone tried to sleep... More

We stayed in room in lodge, lovely view in a quiet setting. Comfortable room. Felt like other Northwest lodges like Crater lake and Oregon caves. Lovely surrounding park setting with river and wildlife.

We absolutely love staying at the Wallowa Lake Resort. The cabins are great and there is quite a selection. There will surely be one that fits your needs. The resort is close to everything near Wallowa Lake State Park, food, shopping and fun. Check-in is easy, even if you arrive late.

Where do I begin? Yes, lake view house #22 does have a million dollar view. I highly suggest that some of those dollars be put to good use and improve not only the inside of the house but the outside too. The interior of the house was interesting. The kitchen is updated and efficient. That being said the rest of the... More

Stayed 3 nights in one of the cabins located on the river. It was an old cabin with old furnishings but very comfortable. We only had two problems with the cabin itself; one was the bathroom seemed to attract a lot of insects, but we were in an old cabin in the woods and we're not bothered by such things,... More

Rental was the BOEVES cabin. This 2-story, 3 bdrm cabin was in the worst condition of any place I've seen. The stairs to the 2 upper bdrms were steep, narrow, open and semi-blocked by a trap door that hung from a weight at about a 45 degree angle. This trap door must be closed once upstairs to avoid falling through... More

We have stayed @White Fir Cottage numerous times in last 10 yrs. and never had any Issues. Well the "Wallowa Lake Resort" has changed Mgmt. and we had No Idea what we were in for!! Rate was @$140/a nite and part of that Rate is for Cleaning. That property was NOT Clean! Their were hairs on Toilet Seats, Urine on... More

Thank you for you comments in regard to your stay. As you noted, we acquired Wallowa Lake Resort during 2015 combining it with Flying Arrow Resort. This growth was has been challenging. However, 2016 will be greatly improved as a result of implementing a new reservation system, recruiting additional staff and completing a remodel of our office and laundry room.... More

I picked Wallowa Lake Resort for the sole reason of trying to get away from Flying Arrow Resort, only to find out that they had been bought out by the same people. I have been coming to Wallowa lake for 30 years, and almost exclusively (except for state park camping) stayed in rental cabins. Many of them were owned by... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide comments through Trip Advisor. We agree that you need to choose wisely. In all cases you get what you pay for. There will be a big difference between a cabin that is for $125/night and one that is $180/night. We have cabins for all budgets. It is important to read all of... More

Wallowa Lake is nestled to the south of the Wallowa Mountains which are known to the locals as the miniature Alps. The lake itself is magnificent and the drive to the Wallowa Lake Resort takes you around the lake to its headwaters which come right out of the Wallowa Mountains. The lake is filled with several species of trout and... More

We had a family get together and stayed in the Wallowa River House. The house is spacious and over looks the Wallowa River. It has 2 fireplaces, a huge master bedroom, a jacuzzi tub upstairs, lots of windows, a split level deck with stairs that lead to the river bank. They have everything you need to have a great getaway.... More
