#1 of 2 B&Bs / Inns in Joseph
Travelers' Choice
Fully restored 1920s Arts & Crafts bungalow located in Joseph, Oregon's first Arts and Culture District. Delicious full breakfasts served with organic coffee, teas and juices. Three graciously appointed guestrooms and one over-the-top suite each with en suite bath and many amenities. Perennial gardens with regulation surface bocce court. One affable cat on premises but not allowed in the guestrooms. We're a favorite for anniversary couples, hikers, art enthusiasts, and those wanting a quiet escape from the hub-bub of city life.

Had a fun weekend getaway for my friend's birthday. It was her first trip to this beautiful area and our lovely stay here added to the experience. The shared spaces are cozy and clean. Our room (Ferguson) was the last room available and very comfortable with it's own bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it.

Bill and Ann, the temporary hosts were very accommodating and the breakfasts they served were very good. Many businesses in Joseph, including the Tram at Wallowa Lake were closed for the season. We also hoped to tour Valley Forge but they had ceased that as well due to half of their staff not being vaccinated for Covid. We did go to the Valley Forge Gallery which was excellent.

The Bronze Antler is perfection. It is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, has comfortable beds, a large and well stocked bathroom with each room, a tasty breakfast, and friendly hosts. They have thought of everything that a person could possibly desire. The gardens are lovely. Four deer were grazing in the yard. We will definitely stay here again.

The bed was nice and firm, appointments were amazing. They thought of EVERYTHING for this room: robes, nightlights, bidet, make up mirror, even a rubber ducky for the tub. The living and dining area very comfy and welcoming, great location, can’t think of enough superlatives!
