This inn is a wonderful place to relax and refresh after spending the day in the beautiful Wallowa mountains and Hell's Canyon. The hosts, Missy and Eric, are very friendly and helpful. All the food was delicious and Missy created special meals for my husband to accommodate his food allergies. The room was very nice and had a great view of the mountains. We appreciated that they followed the Covid-19 protocols for masks, distance, and disinfecting the spaces. I highly recommend the Kokanee Inn.

Our stay at Kokanee Inn was wonderful! It was a very fun and relaxing vacation. The owners, Eric and Missy went out of their way to make our stay with them extra comfortable and stress free. They upgraded our room to a suite to give us a little extra space and an extra bathroom to accommodate my daughter who has some health issues. They also gave us a lot of tips on some good hikes in the area. The gourmet breakfasts in the morning were very tasty and made our stay even more special. It was fun meeting new people each morning as we shared breakfast and stories with others. I would highly recommend the Kokanee Inn to anyone who wants to stay in Joseph, Oregon.

What an amazing place to stay! Missy, Eric and their team were so friendly and welcoming, the whole place felt like home - they were happy to give us recommendations for places to visit, the best places to eat, and other things to do. We were unexpectedly stranded for an extra day as the roads were closed due to bad weather, Missy immediately arranged for us to keep our gorgeous room, and checked all the local traffic sites (and social media groups!) to help us get to our next destination safely.

The Inn is walking distance from the town and close to the lake. The rooms are all beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The decor reflects the region's rich history and cultural significance, which makes the whole place all the more special. Oh, and the breakfasts were superb!

If I could give Kokanee more than five stars then I happily would - it's not often you find people who are genuinely kind and helpful, and who really cannot do enough for you. It's a long way from our home in the UK, but it's definitely a place we won't forget, and would love to visit again.

My husband and I booked three rooms. One for us and one for each of the boys. Do the circumstances My husband and I took the room with three bunk beds. Suffice to say this review is not based on the memories a romantic weekend, lol! Or stay with so delightful however that I wanted to be sure and write a review. Our accommodations were very clean and felt like new. However the warmth of the inn with its many patios as well as indoor sitting areas made it such a delightful place to relax. The location gives you fabulous views of the mountains that surround this little valley and while we were there the caps were covered in snow. Eric and Missy Are the kind of hosts you hope for. They make you feel like family. They had the bikes ready whenever we wanted to take a ride and even prepared breakfast for us when we returned late from our morning ride... All six of us. All of this with a smile like they had nothing better to do. We also enjoyed the fact that it was close to downtown with all the little shops and restaurants. I would definitely book again.

Little late writing this review, but can't say enough about our stay and the hospitality of Eric and Missy. My wife and I did a backpacking trip into Eagles Cap Wilderness area and it began with such a wonderful night at this great B&B. We met some wonderful people, had some great food and a wonderful night of rest before our long hike to Mirror Lake. In addition, Eric was able to relocate our vehicle from the trailhead to another trail end, allowing us to do a point to point hike instead of a loop. A service unavailable anywhere else. Our only disappointment is when we came back out a day early they were booked and we couldn't do another night with them! We so look forward to going back. Bryan & Carie, Peachtree City, GA

Make no mistake the Kokanee Inn is well maintained, has a great staff, and is located in a good spot just off the main stretch of shops in Joseph. The breakfast is perhaps the best part of the experience here and is served 7a-9a daily. The Inn also offers complimentary snacks and drinks, which is a wonderful bonus. I just want to say the price, to me, is too much for what you get. The rooms are clean and comfortable but fairly average. You do have to share restrooms with other guests. They have a decent amount, however, and we only shared ours with one other occupied room. I typically expect to save a little money when sharing a restroom, but I would not call the rate we paid a savings. Additionally, guests must share a fridge and there was not a TV in the room. Small amenities, but I feel like the price they are charging merits an in-room fridge and TV. Lastly, the information we had indicates daily room service, but our room was not made after the first of two nights. This is a good hotel and you will enjoy your stay. My beef, however, is with the value. If I'm paying that much for a night, I'm expecting all the amenities to be stellar and it just wasn't there for me. Sorry to throw cold water on the 5 star parade, but this is simply average with a good breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kokanee Inn. Missy and Eric are great hosts and Eric makes an amazing breakfast! He made a coffee, chipotle beef (made the day before on his smoker) egg/potato burrito that is to die for! We had a comfortable bed, amazing bathroom and many places to relax and take in the surroundings! several rooms are family oriented! I recommend the Eagle Cap room with mountain views and a loft for the kids to sleep in! cruiser bikes are available to ride and walking distance to downtown Joseph. We had great time! Thanks Missy and Eric!

Very nice, comfortable, and clean accommodations. The inn also has great indoor and several outdoor spaces to relax. Friendly owners were very accommodating, and breakfast was bountiful as well as delicious. We were on a whitewater rafting expedition in the area and stayed at both the front and back of our rafting adventure!

My husband and I just checked out of the the Kokanee Inn and I could not wait to write my review. We were so happy with our stay! The Inn is very comfortable, and because of the time of the year we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Our room was very spacious with amazing big windows with views of the snow covered mountains. Our room was cleaned every day when we were out which was a pleasant surprise. Our room was always so very clean which we loved. we also slept great in the king size bed, which was comfortable. Erik and Missy were so hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. They had hot coffee going every morning very early and access to the coffee and tea bar all day along with water all day. They always had an amazing fire going on and the stove first thing in the morning and every day in the evening when we came back to our room. They also had an honor bar with some great Oregon, beers and wines that we could purchase. We were also able to bring our leftovers from the great restaurants in Joseph to put in the fridge and heat up in their microwave if we wanted to. The best food we had though was definitely every morning which they made for us. Every morning I looked forward to what was going to be for breakfast. They are able to accommodate different dietary restrictions. One of the other guest that arrived later was vegan and they were able to make adjustments to every breakfast meal while we were there to accommodate her. That was the other plus to staying here is being able to meet other the guests at breakfast and get to know them. Erik and Missy were flexible with what time you want to eat breakfast also which was nice because sometimes we wanted to eat earlier and sometimes we wanted to eat later in the morning. I highly recommend that you stay here! You will not be disappointed.😊

I cannot say enough good things about the Kokanee Inn, but I will do my best to summarize: great location, non-assuming yet classy decor, WONDERFUL host and EXCELLENT breakfast. Okay, lets talk about the breakfast because I like to eat healthy and a lot. This is tops down the best breakfast I have ever had at a B & B or a restaurant. I cannot believe the thought that Eric and Missy have gone to, to come up with the service and menu that they have. Honestly I totally forgot b-fast even came with the stay because it is always so-so. But here this is a highlight. Your host are real people that work hard and do an outstanding job at making your stay a special part of your trip. It is a wonderful place with special people hosting you. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.
