Back a long gravel lane we found a delightful surprise in Sakura Ridge. Just minutes from Hood River, Sakura Ridge is a place even the locals are not aware of. It is located in the shadow of Mount Hood, surrounded by fruit trees, pastures for the sheep, little sheds for the chickens and a playground for the various farm cats...

My wife and I just completed a wonderful September trip from the east coast to Oregon and Washington. While planning, the first reservation we made was Sakura Ridge lodge. We have stayed at several wonderful bed and breakfasts but remembered our first stay here 3 years before. Sakura is a special place! A peaceful setting high on a ridge in...

Sakura Ridge is happy to be on your "favorites" list. It's the many guests that appreciate the farm experience that make our life's work so enjoyable. Thank you.

We recently did our first "overview" trip of Oregon, visiting the Hood River area, the coast and Willamette Valley. When anyone asks about our trip, our time at Sakura Ridge is the first thing out of our mouth. The fruit trees, the amazing golden raspberries, watching the lambs running around in their fields, the lodge itself...and of course the views...

My husband and I spent 3 nights in Sakura Ridge and wished we could have stayed longer. We can't think of anything that needs improvement with this lovely retreat. Perfect location with spectacular views of Mt. Hood from every room, inviting and friendly hosts Deanna and John who made us feel right at home but gave us privacy, lovely, tasteful...

I have very little experience staying in B&B's, and am a bit "snooty/picky" when it comes to where I stay. Sakura Ridge was absolutely incredible, and we modified our itinerary on our trip to allow time just to hang out there, because it was so beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. We arrived late in the evening, and the communications left by...

So happy you had a chance to just relax and enjoy Sakura Ridge. The baby lamb just are amazing to watch - running back and forth - though always watched closely by their moms. Hope you can come back. Best regards!

My wife and I just spent two wonderful nights at Sakura Ridge. We have stayed in several places around the world but this is truly the most beautiful spot we have ever stayed. The views of Mount Hood are nothing short of spectacular. We stayed in the Orchard Room which I would highly recommend. You have your own private balcony,...

Thanks so much for sharing your experience at Sakura Ridge. We still have golden raspberries but the just picked plums this morning were mighty delicious.

We are a bit stingy with our 5-star ratings on TA, but Sakura Ridge is totally deserving! First, it is blessed with a spectacular setting, in the shadow of Mt. Hood. (Locals may not appreciate the setting...but we're from Florida, and our highest "mountain" is a speed bump!) We stayed in the River room, cozy, clean and comfortable. We loved...

Thanks for sharing your experience at Sakura Ridge. Even the locals who have lived their entire lives in the Hood River Valley love looking, gazing, pondering and doing some soul searching while enjoying the views of Mt. Hood. Black berries are in season right now and oh so good in or on pancakes. Happy you liked ours. Best. Deanna and...

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Sakura, and it was fantastic. The owners are wonderful, the views are spectacular, and the breakfasts were delicious. You can sit on the back porch for hours and enjoy the beautiful vista (and the lambs grazing). I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on our next trip back to Hood River. Make...

Thank you for supporting our farm by staying at the Lodge and sharing your experience. We are up to 80 in the flock. A new lamb was born yesterday.

My husband and I stayed in the River Room for 4 days. It was a small room but immaculate and the views of Mount Hood were amazing. Deanna and John were lovely to talk with and learn about how Sukura Ridge came to be. Breakfast was very different each day and it was fun to try new lamb dishes. The...

I've been meaning to write this review for nearly a year. We had been wanting to stay here for a couple years, but as we are last minute travelers when we travel around our home in Portland, I always found it booked well in advance. Thanks for sharing your experience at and with Sakura Ridge. We do have to admit that we took your seats at the Valentine's dinner. It was French and Fabulous! That Valentine's storm was such an unexpected gift (?) from Mother Nature. Hope to see you soon. Deanna and John
