I attended a wedding at Lost Lake and it was spectacular! There is no cell service, but it was a very nice break. The site of the wedding had beautiful trees with the lake in the background. It was the perfect setting for this couple. After the ceremony, we all dined on picnic tables with linen table clothes and glass... More

The most awesome place on earth. Wonderful to wake up and see Mt Hood reflecting in the lake. Great trail to hike around the entire lake. Very peaceful, a great place to relax and enjoy birds, wildlife and scenery.

Lost Lake is beautiful and I had a great time, but I was crossing my fingers in hopes of some limit connectivity to deal with work issues while trying to take some time off with family. If you visit, then expect to be completely disconnected. I have AT&T for my phone which got no service D I have Verizon for... More

We tent camped last summer, rented a canoe, swam in the lake, enjoyed well made coffee at the camp store, etc... This year we rented Yurt #4 and it was quite pleasant. We were happy to have the Yurt, because rain and general chilliness. The yurt had two bunkbeads and a simple box wood stove that was decently efficient to... More

We stayed in Cabin #7. It's a nice sized cabin with a big table, chairs and a rocking chair. Fire Place and a wood stove. There is NO cell phone service or wifi. The outdoor bathroom was clean, didn't smell and was very close by. There is only one shared firepit but another family was sitting by it the whole... More

we were group of 10 and we rented kayaks and paddle boards here and spent 2 hours in the lake. It was fun. Warning!! Lake Trillium or Mirror lake didnt have such activities to do. So if you like to do any activity I would recommend lost lake.

Visited to celebrate my birthday. Beautiful place to visit during summers. Few good advise, if you have rented the lodge then carry everything from home. You will find only towels and gas stove. They do have a store which will close by 8PM.

Shhh...our favorite family getaway. We've tried the tent camping, a cabin, and most recently the yurt. Loved them all. The website is not very clear for yurt camping so know these tips: do bring your own dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc. the website does say linens are not included which is true. The yurts do have little camp stoves (wood... More

We came to Lost Lake just to do the lakeshore trail that circles the lake itself. It was a little over 3 miles and in terms of cardiovascular effort, it would be rated as easy. However, in many locations the trail was obstructed by large downed trees and rocks. While this made it fun and a little more challenging, you... More

Lost Lake is my absolute favorite place in Oregon! You can just go up for a day trip or come up to stay for awhile. They offer things to do just for a day trip or for a whole week. You can fish off a boat or off the shore, you can hike around the lake, you can bike around... More
