This was our last stop on a month long visit to Oregon. We read the reviews prior to booking and had an idea this was not going to be the usual property.

Clearly this is a very old renovated hotel. There is a certain charm to that, but still leaves a lot to be desired for $17

Always enjoy our stay. Very comfortable beds. Can be noisy on the North side(train). Ate at Romulus for dinner, and it was wonderful. You can walk around town with a glass of wine, and check out the shops.

I tend to prefer funky, hip little boutique hotels when traveling for work to the biggest cities around the world. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the historic Hood River Hotel in the middle of downtown Hood River has got world-class hospitality and charm. It's been moder

The experience was not what I was expecting. It was noisy, small, and had no closet or hangers. I had an interview the next morning and I am sure I did not look my best. I would find it very difficult to stay there again. The local businesses were an enjoyable experience. People

Love this hotel and the area! It's old and quaint and is a little bit funky but that's what's fun about it. The service was awesome I love the fireplace and openness in the downstairs lobby area as well as the historic decorations. The restaurant in the hotel is also really good

We're (2) looking for 2 nights in mid-Sept. Could you you quote us a suite vs king room price? Mid-week, 3rd floor would work fine, like 9/14-9/16. Thanks you.
This hotel is wonderful but my only experience was reserving a room with two beds. Please call them and enjoy a wonderful stay!

Best parking options? Best reasonably priced casual restaurants/bars within walking distance?
We were there on a Sunday night and didn't need to pay for parking at night. However, we paid the $3 for a permit to put in our window to cover the next morning after 8 am. You can't park on the main street but it was easy finding a place on the street up from the hotel--a very short walk. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and that's where we had dinner. The owner was really nice and it made for an easy place to go after a long day of driving. We later walked up and down the street and there were other nice looking and packed restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect.
