This B & B is nothing more than a big house in suburban Portland with a few suites that the owners rent out. The owners themselves live in the house. Although they are perfectly nice people, they are quite elderly and it is questionable whether they have the wherewithal to run a B & B properly. Overall, the place felt...

Nice place! Nice views and cozy rooms. Very warm on the cold nights! The couple who run it are friendly and helpful. I like how they have fixed it up and they make a yummy breakfast! I can't wait to stay there again

As nice as this place looks from the outside...in need of repairs and the older couple who own/run it are beyond their capabilities. One of our rooms was double booked, the old man was up before dawn banging dishes and cabinets, the wife is on oxygen...over slept first morning. Breakfast was nominal, kept running out of coffee. Cats everywhere. Second...

I was so blessed by Della and Virgil. When we walked in about 6:30 in the evening, she showed me around and introduced us to her husband Virgil who was watching television. She shared that the kitchen and minibar is open 24/7. Wow, we stayed at other B&B's and we did not expect this level of hospitality. She makes great...

The animals are beautiful, the place is very nice, the owners are lovely...we'll be back! I didn't have any complaints :) Portland lacks on decent hotels this was the perfect answer! Every morning they were very attentive, cooking breakfast, putting out food for the birds/squirrels, having coffee ready.

Mt. Scott Manor provides relaxing get-away with easy access to historic Portland, Columbia River Gorge, Willamette wine country and other attractions. We enjoyed peaceful mornings and evenings on the spacious deck overlooking lovely wildlife setting. There are many opportunities for bird watching, deer sighting & feeding. The Innkeepers are really interesting and enjoyable to talk with. The Master Suite provided...

The one thing I would have liked more is for Della and Virgil to sit with the guest for breakfast. beyond that this place is so nice. yes it does have three cats which are outside most of the time. We stayed in the Master Suite and the photos don't do it justice. the place was like a dream.

This innkeeper evidently intentionally overbooks and then stiffs customers. Despite having received a personal confirmation from the innkeeper more than a month in advance, when we arrived, she told us that we had no room because she had "mistakenly" overbooked. Odd that she kept this "mistake" as secret from us for more than a month, when she had our phone...

No issues to ding a star off for. Nice place, host was very gracious. Beautiful landscape. There are some things to note but no need to ding a star for. -the house did have a distinct odor but didn't bother us much - there are cats if you are allergic (we are but didn't bother us) -windows do not have...

Our 4 night stay at Mt. Scott Manor B&B was very enjoyable. Our room was the Eagles Nest, named after the Golden Eagles that have visited the balcony outside the room. The room was very spacious with a large, well appointed on-suite. Our private balcony overlooking the back yard offered the perfect place to relax and enjoy that first cup...
