This Oregon legend was built in 1924 along the banks of the scenic Rogue River. It was a vacation retreat to many Hollywood personalities such as Clark Gable, Carol Lombard and Walt Disney. In 1993, Country House Inns purchased the Weasku Inn and began restoring it. In September of 1998, the restoration was complete, the five rooms in the Lodge having been updated, while the original character and splendor was maintained. In addition, eleven cabins were built on the property and an original A Frame cabin remodeled. Since its completion, "Travel and Leisure Magazine" named this historic landmark "one of the top 25 Lodges in the United States". Recently, in "1,000 Places to See Before You Die: A Traveler's Life List ", Patricia Shultz declared the Weasku Inn one of those "must see" places. We invite you to step back in time, restore yourself and create new beginnings at the wonderful Weasku Inn. Our accommodations include:5 Lodge Rooms, 11 River Front Cabins, 1 A-Frame Cabin, and a Three Bedroom River House All rooms are non-smokingSorry, no pets allowed Check-in 3pm / Check-out Noon 72 hour cancellation policy Children 12 and under stay free when occupying same room with an adult Complimentary wireless Internet throughout the property Meeting & Event Space for up to 40 people All accommodations include a full hot breakfast, a complimentary afternoon appetizer reception and evening milk & cookies

I stayed 3 nights here with my kids while exploring southern Oregon. The grounds and the rooms are superb- 5 stars for sure. You don't come across places with this type of character very often, and this one has it.
We stayed in one of the cabins, which I highly recommend.
The complimentary breakfast is "complete" - most offer "carb heavy" options only, but they have eggs and sausage.
I love and need a good cup of coffee, so I was pleased to see the rooms carry "pod style" coffee makers, with coffee from the local roastery- nice touch.
Big upside is the afternoon complimentary "app plate": fruits, veggies, hummus, and a daily "house app" option. Perfect "nosh" to tide you over until dinner, and you have the option of taking this on the deck/lawn or back at your room.
I'd give this a 5 star, but its location near two noisy roadways (the 5 and the 99) are noticeable from the cabin balcony and the lawn. It's better at night, and the river crickets drown out most of it. Don't get me wrong, I would stay here again in a second, but there a "road drone" instead of the sound of the Rogue.

This place was amazing. We stayed in the King room overlooking the river and we both loved the rustic charm, all of the trees and the Rogue river could be seen from our room and back porch. We enjoyed the rocking chairs out on the porch, the fireplace inside and all of the details that went in to making the room beautiful. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was so fantastic I didn't want to get out. We enjoyed the warm cookies at night, the snacks in the afternoon, the daily breakfasts and the s'mores kits. We would totally stay here again (actually we didn't want to leave LOL) and I hope you enjoy it too.

What a breath of fresh air! Literally! Found a special deal on Travelzoo and snapped it up, called and was able to stay that same night for 4 days. The deal included a bottle of wine waiting in our room, a king bed room on the Rogue River, and wine tasting at any of 14 wineries (self tour). What was especially nice was the late breakfast until 11, appetizers and drinks at 430, then amazing warm cookies and smores and milk or other beverages at 730. The room was very nice, rustic with open wood beams, a comfy bed, a nice gas fireplace, good sized bathroom with a keurig for coffee service and water, and a nice private patio on the river side where guests can smoke outdoors. The lodge has such great history, is nearly 100 years old! And it's just beautiful. It was the perfect quick getaway and I do plan to return. The staff were all very friendly and the facilities were clean. I travel a lot and I thought this was a wonderful experience. Great job Weasku Lodge!!! I will be back!!

While traveling in the Grants Pass area over the last few years, we have seen the Inn and decided on our recent trip to stay there. I was a little disappointed that even though the web site shows the Rouge river, you cannot see it from the property. We stayed in the old lodge, which had some challenges. The stairway to the second floor is steep and navigating with suit cases was difficult. There is very little sound proofing between the rooms which caused some loss of sleep. The bat amenities were pleasing and my husband and I both enjoyed the cozy robes that were provided. While the room had a nice coffee maker, it lacked a mini frig. Luckily we had a small ice chest and we were given a bag of ice. The evening hors d'oeuves consisted of chicken quesadilla, which we declined. We were pleased with the scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins and juice for breakfast. Overall, the lodge is old and beautiful, the grounds are beautiful. Just wish we had stayed in one of the newer rooms.

We were driving up from California and just needed a place to stay. Weasku Inn came up on Trip Advisor and we checked it out.
The lodge had a big fire burning in the fireplace when we checked in, the staff was knowledgable, friendly and genuinely interested in making our stay as pleasant as possible.
The cookies were great, we didn't do the firepit and s'mores because we were tired. But we did light the fire in our cabin and enjoy dinner in the room.
Breakfast was ready at the arranged time and was delicious!
The room was spotless, and very comfortable, bathroom, was warm with a grreat shower, etc.
Can't wait to stay again.

We stayed in #41, a King Cabin with river view for our anniversary. It was our second time there. We arrived two hours before check in, and were told the cabin would be ready in 1/2 hour, and they would call me when ready. So we walked around the property for an hour, then waited on the porch. After another hour, (now it was past check in time of 3:00pm) I went inside to ask if our cabin was ready, and waited another 20 minutes while the clerk struggled with a couple who had issues with their reservation. Once I got to speak with the clerk, and asked if they forgot about me. I instantly got an attitude when she said " I just started my shift and don't know what you're talking about". When we finally got into our cabin, I tried to turn off the A/C, but none of the buttons worked, so I finally unplugged it. The little table on the porch was broken and the legs were folding under, so we didn't use it. The cleaning we waited so long for was very marginal, there was hair on the bathroom sink, it looked like water had been spilled on the carpet (hopefully water) and not mopped up. Socks got wet walking into the bathroom every time. The TV remote was greasy and overall cleaning was really marginal. Not what I expected and not the kind of service Carl would tolerate.

We stayed here in June 2020. They had set up all the protective measures for distancing. They did their best to maintain their high standard of hospitality including both breakfast and snacks and cookies in the evening for guests. They had to serve most things in plastic wrapping. We sampled local beers and wines, modestly priced. We stayed in the Walt Disney room of upstairs in the main lodge. It was cozy, did not have a refrigerator but they gave us ice for our small cooler bag. In other hotels during our trip, they simply abolished all breakfasts and other services that normally come with the room, but this Inn went the extra mile to maintain their traditions so everyone could have a special experience.
The Inn was so beautiful we took many pictures inside and out. We walked the canal and river areas behind the Inn. This Inn was a highlight of our trip through Oregon. The town of Grants Pass was fun to see as well.

We stayed on a Sunday night in August 2021 in between Crater Lake and Northern California. The inn staff was fantastic. Check-in was extremely simple and quick. We got the "Historic Lodge Room with Balcony." It is just above the inn's front desk and the kitchen on the second floor, and it has a nice little balcony overlooking a duck pond. The room was enormous, with a huge king mattress bed. There was a full living area with couch, and the bathroom appeared to be part of the original structure. Everything was extremely clean, and the A/C worked really well... almost too good after we came back from dinner! We really had no noise from down below, and it provided a very quiet night's sleep. The only piece that wasn't spectacular was the continental breakfast buffet. The river side of the original inn has a huge deck, which is where we enjoyed our breakfast and coffee. Be sure to check out some of the great history about this inn during your stay! The drive into the center of Grants Pass is only about 15 minutes from the inn.

We were gifted this visit to the Inn by our son and his lady who had stayed there a few years ago...it was so much fun-even though the weather didn't cooperate until the end of our 3 night stay!! The room had everything we needed (we stayed in a King cabin) and loved lighting the fireplace to warm us up after a walk along the river. We were greeted each morning by Scott who had laid out a full breakfast buffet (I'm not a big breakfast eater but still managed to clean my plate). It is always fun to see the other guests and most of them mentioned that this was not their first time at the Inn! Another buffet of appetizers came out in the late afternoon for Happy Hour (which served as our dinner one night) followed by warm chocolate cookies and s'mores kits (I took ours home and made them in the microwave-just not the same as around the fire pit). We loved our getaway and we'll definitely return to this little gem on the Rogue River!
PS Lots to see and do in Grants Pass...creameries, wineries and downtown GP to name a few!

We’ve stayed at the Weasku Inn for many years. It’s always a pleasure! The river front cabins are comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated and have lovely private outdoor decks overlooking the river. This visit Alex at the front desk was very helpful with local wineries + restaurant tips. Heidi at breakfast was a delight to talk to, and we enjoyed her full service help with preparing and serving our complimentary breakfast.
Complimentary appetizers + wine on the lodge deck in the afternoons are always a pleasure. The setting is gorgeous. Don’t miss this very special place!

Good Morning, Thank you all for your responses to our guests questions as I am sure they have found them very helpful. I do believe that we have AT&T in our area. I would suggest contacting them and or looking online to see where they have the best coverage but generally most cell phone companies do get service here at Weasku Inn. Thank you for inquiring.
