Stayed for two nights in a king cabin. The grounds are lovely and the cabin was comfortable and spacious. There are a lot of little perks like free breakfast, evening snacks, cookies and milk and smores kits to roast by the fire pit. The staff members are super friendly and accommodating.

This property is not exactly on the Rogue River, but you can walk to the river from your room by crossing a bridge and following a path. Sorry, but in this location it's just a River and not very scenic with a power facility just upstream. OK, so the inn itself is exactly as they advertise. Historic. The main building... More

Didn't look much from the outside but never judge a book by its cover. The staff were friendly and helpful. The log cabins are spacious and well appointed. Wonderful comfy large beds. Appetisers and cookies were provided for guests. In the morning the breakfast was hearty. Its isolated and about three miles from the nearest town where there was a... More

We found Weasku Inn to be a gem. The property is well kept and the grounds are very nice and relaxing. We stayed in a cabin that backed up to a overflow canal with a view of the Rogue River. Both the cabin and deck were spacious and we enjoyed the gas fireplace and modern comforts of home. The staff... More

We just completed a 4 night stay and loved every minute in our cabin with a fireplace we didn't use. Atmosphere was terrific sitting on the balcony overlooking the river. Breakfast, appetizers and nighttime cookies are provided daily. Great fire pit to sit around and the grounds are beautiful and well groomed. Refrigerator and coffee were also in the room.... More

Rustic setting, rustic exterior, modern living accommodations. We stayed in suite 42. It was a great suite, plenty of room including the bathroom. The on-line pictures are very accurate. You have a back porch to sit on & you can hear the river, but it is barely visible through the trees. You will have to take a brief walk to... More

We were hoping for a relaxing place to spend our 48th anniversary...but we found a friendly, beautiful and accommodating spot on the Rogue River. Activities of breakfast, evening wine, s'mores and cookies if you choose...or not. Perfect for doing a little fly fishing within walking distance...or reading, napping or visiting. Close to nice restaurants and "things to do". So glad... More

We had a most pleasant stay in this charming place. The cabin room was comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the wine in the afternoon excellent. This is the place Clark Gable used as a home base when fly fishing in the Grants Pass area. We made an easy side-trip to Crater Lake (Beautiful). Also enjoyed an exciting trip on the... More

We are so grateful that you found our Inn to be a charming place to stay. Our location is a great hub to most of the outdoor recreation in our area. We are happy to hear that was the case for your trip. The Hellgate Jetboat Excursions is something that our staff highly recommends and it sounds like you enjoyed... More

We visited the Weasku Inn in 2015 and came back again for the start of a long fly-drive down through California. This time we stayed in a lodge room - apparently where Clarke Gable stayed. Nice big room with a big bed and lovely views towards the Rogue River. Definitely recommended for those that like their places nice and relaxing.

From the time we checked in to the time we left our experience was sublime! The front desk was attentive (They gave us a vase to put our Wild Flowers in). We loved the hors d'oeuvre reception. It was peaceful and just lovely. We want to stay there from now on. And you know you can never go wrong when... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This Oregon legend was built in 1924 along the banks of the scenic Rogue River. It was a vacation retreat to many Hollywood personalities such as Clark Gable, Carol Lombard and Walt Disney. In 1993, Country House Inns purchased the Weasku Inn and began restoring it. In September of 1998, the restoration was complete, the five rooms in the Lodge having been updated, while the original character and splendor was maintained. In addition, eleven cabins were built on the property and an original A Frame cabin remodeled. Since its completion, "Travel and Leisure Magazine" named this historic landmark "one of the top 25 Lodges in the United States". Recently, in "1,000 Places to See Before You Die: A Traveler's Life List ", Patricia Shultz declared the Weasku Inn one of those "must see" places. We invite you to step back in time, restore yourself and create new beginnings at the wonderful Weasku Inn.
