Salishan lodge makes a big point about being PET FRIENDLY in their ads but after 1 1/2 hrs. online then another 30 + minutes on the phone after finding out their website was down, I finally got registered, only to find out at the very end of the process after calling them back to let them know that our cat would be with us "OH WE DON'T ALLOW CATS AT SALISHAN" I asked them Then why don't you call your place Dog Friendly instead of Pet Friendly? to which they had no answer, to which we cancelled our reservations.

We arrived the night before another Covid-19 mandate. The staff was super friendly and informative, letting us know all of the options for food and which of the lodge's services were still available. We were able to enjoy eating in the Attic restaurant before it closed to inside dining. The cheeseburger is must-have! The room was very clean and we had a bay view to watch the thunder and lightning from beside the cozy gas fireplace. In spite of the limited services offered we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this gorgeous pet-friendly lodge, can't wait to book my next stay!

I received a gift for a night away and chose Salishan because we have a 16 week puppy that we wanted to be able to bring. We only stayed one night but had a relaxing and perfectly lazy stay. A huge storm rolled in that afternoon and I loved being curled up in our cabin-like room, fireplace on, watching movies and listening to the wind howling! The bed was super comfy with luxurious pillows. Always a huge plus for me. They also had 3 chairs and a cushioned bench in the room so lots of nice seating options. We really took advantage of the COVID-cation and spoiled ourselves with room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I was SO impressed by the quality of their food considering 1.) it wasn’t even coming from their fine dining restaurant and 2.) it always came beautifully prepared despite being delivered. I ordered a medium-rare steak for dinner and it was truly medium rare. That can be hard to get even in a restaurant! My husband had the salmon sandwich for lunch and gave it rave reviews. The dinner salmon filet was also a hearty portion of perfectly prepared salmon with delicious veggies and rice. And their rosemary fries... so delish! I visited the little shop they have and looked around. Great place for local treats. I bought a bottle of wine and she was nice enough to give me plastic cups to bring back to the room (something to note is that the rooms do not have glassware so bring cups if you plan to enjoy some wine by your fireplace or balcony!). As others have mentioned, the wine prices are pretty inflated but that’s just how it is purchasing at any resort or hotel. You pay for the convenience. If you want to avoid this, BYOB! The room had floor to ceiling window which is always nice, and a great balcony with quality rocking chairs! Such a nice touch! We didn’t get to enjoy them given the weather but we will definitely be back!!

What a magical family trip in the age of COVID. So many activities to enjoy outdoors without out ever getting in a car. Little girls loved the nature walks, glass ball searching and s’mores by the fire. Karen at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! Only feedback is that the pool was freezing and the kiddos only lasted 20 minutes.

Room location was ideal, away from any highway sounds. Beautiful view of golf course with chairs on veranda to enjoy the peaceful scenery. Parking stalls were great as we never had to worry about other doors banging into ours. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dining restaurant was excellent. Nicole was friendly and attentive. Lots of walking paths but with the colder temps, rain and winds, we opted not to venture out. Would recommend this resort, Deluxe South Golf Course View room, for a pleasant, restful getaway.
