Our room was well cleaned and kept and our stay was relaxing. Everyone was super kind and enjoyable company during breakfast. The ride took us to some beautiful views and it was good to hear about ranch riding in eastern oregon.

Thoroughly enjoyable place to spend a vacation. Besides the ranch activities, there are so many beautiful spots to visit nearby, you will never be bored. The ranch is run by a very friendly family that loves their visitors. Can't wait to go back.

Our family stayed in the Homestead room. There was plenty of room for all five of us. We had a wonderful visit. The breakfast was excellent, the children had a wonderful horseback ride that they cannot stop talking about! We would recommend this bed-and-breakfast, and if we were ever back in this part of the country would definitely book there again!

My friend and I had a wonderful time at the ranch for a weekend getaway from city life. It was a really nice eating a delicious pioneer breakfast with the other B&B guests. The hosts were fabulous storytellers at breakfast. Having a hot shower and a really comfortable bed at night made our John Day Fossil Beds road trip even better. We also did the 1-hour horseback ride.

Two couples spent 2 wonderful nights at the Wilson Family Ranch and what a great time we had. The accommodations were very comfortable and very ranch-like hospitable. We used the BBQ and kitchen one night to prepare our own dinner, and it had everything we needed. The very best part was meeting and getting to know Brian, Kara, and Phil. They embody the ranch life and were full of interesting stories and great sightseeing tips. Kara in particular is an inspiration and joy to befriend. We could not have had a better time. Looking forward to coming back when we can spend more time.

Loved our stay at the Wilson Ranch! Kara and the rest of her family and crew was beyond accommodating and so so lovely! Good food, conversations and the most amazing night sky ever! We went horseback riding for two hours with Brent, which was an awesome experience. 10/10 experience! Would recommend this to anyone :)

The Wilsons were phenomenal hosts and we had a great time staying with them. The ranch is run by three generations who were all very welcoming. Kara is a treasure and gave us great sightseeing advice and recommendations. Breakfast out on the deck was a real treat. Brian led us on a fabulous ride (we did two hours which was plenty for inexperienced riders) and taught us about the geography and history as well as information about the ranch workings. We felt totally at home with them and would recommend them to anyone traveling to Eastern Oregon.

We stayed here for one night in July with our teenage daughter. The room was extremely large and very homely. Breakfast was great and with the other guests which gave us the opportunity to share ideas on travel tips. The highlight of our stay was the horse ride with Brian as our guide. We had never been on a horse before and he was very patient and understanding. Brian and Kara were excellent hosts. Would highly recommend the ranch as a place to stay!

My daughters and I had a 2 night getaway funded by a gift from my husband! Beautiful setting, wonderful food and hospitality and the riding was amazing! Brian gave us very educational information about the science and history of the ranch and local area too during our 3 hour ride. Can’t wait to go back!

We loved the delicious breakfast each morning and the stimulating conversation with other guests and ranch staff. We enjoyed our ride through the juniper and the grazing cattle. Brian was a great tour guide on the ride and shared information about the ranch operation and natural sights. We toured the nearby Painted Hills National Monument and based on the recommendation of the staff had a wonderful pub dinner in Mitchell, OR.
