The front desk lady checking us in was friendly and chatty; she gave us restaurant recommendations The room is clean and includes a microwave and mini-fridge. Hair dryer was at the front desk and was offered to us as we checked in (for Covid reasons). Room had a ceiling fan and stand fan but no air conditioning; the fan was fine as the weather is normally cool. Price was somewhat high for what was offered, but maybe that is because it is on the coast. Now they are not offering donuts or anything for breakfast.

Hotel's Favorite
Our stay was perfect, right from the get go. We received a warm welcome from the front staff Jared. He was very warm, genuine and friendly! He made some great recommendations about the sand dunes. He went above and beyond, with this attentive and considerate manners. The room was fantastic, I loved the set up. It was super clean! Everything about the layout and little things were very thought about.I loved the dream machine that was in the room, comfy beds, lots of outlets (there's even one on the microwave!, good wi-fi! Everything was modern and of great taste. Also I loved the doughnuts offered in the morning with the complementary breakfast, nice touch! Hope to come back and stay there again!

This older, outdated motel was WAY MORE EXPENSIVE than any other place we stayed at on our weeklong coastal drive. The front desk gal was not the friendliest and we had to ask for a hair dryer, ice bucket, etc. The room had a bad odor and the bathroom reeked. The toilet seat was loose, almost sliding off when sat on and the shower head leaked so bad, there wasn't much water pressure. On the plus side, the bed was clean and comfortable with nice pillows. Also, the shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower were nice.

This was a great hotel and the location to old town florence is so close. Kelly at the hotel was amazing! We had a great stay and will be back. Very cool place! Thanks to the staff! Zebra Bar is right around the corner and most restaurants within walking distance.

Booked July 4 weekend with family. I experienced kids running up and down breezeway outside of my room screaming at 1:00 a.m. Multiple domestic disputes in the parking lot in middle of the night. No sleep, could not stay second night, but no refunds, ended up just going back home so would not have to experience another night in this place.
