In a last minute style we wanted to stay the night in Florence over Labor Day weekend. Available rooms were sparse and paying over $200 for a Comfort Inn type hotel seemed silly. There was room at Le Chateau and with reservations we booked it. The motel room was quite large with a bigger than normal "mini fridge". Rooms was...

The hotel was below average for the price. The hotel is right off 101, but the noise from the people above us was louder than the hwy. The second morning we got a luke warm shower and it was only 8:30. I WON'T stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Checked in late night. Very friendly and helpful front desk lady. Room is basic but was clean and tidy. Pool looks ok and there is a spa and small gym. Small town hotel that is reasonable and well priced. Not a hotel for a romantic get away but good for a night or two.

very rude front desk person, room smelled like smoke and cat piss, and it was a non- pet room. They have no idea how to treat customer, and the owner does not even live in the states and hates Americans

Thank you for the review. The owner lives in Oregon and doesn't live outside of the country. We also can't find a record of an Eric that has stayed here within the last year with a last name starting with P. Are you sure you stayed at the Le Chateau Inn? They raised their prices, our hotel room carpet was filthy, the fan kept dropping out of the ceiling every time we closed the door. The hot and cold water in the bar area did not shut off totally. I don't mind any hotel/motel raising their prices but when they do I expect a clean room with everything working. They have...

Young lady at the desk was very friendly. She let us check in at about 11:30 am which is a big plus for me. Room was clean and good size. Large bathroom. 32in flat screen tv. Breakfast was offered at 7am but by about 8am all that was left was cereal, coffee and bread. Jam but no butter for the...

Made reservations over the phone. Asked if their motel most resembled a Motel 6 or Holiday Inn, was told a Holiday Inn. I said GREAT, PLEASE BOOK ME! Surprise, surprise not a Holiday Inn, not even a Motel 6! This place was horrible! The registration lobby smelt like cat pee. Our room stunk also. The ceiling was sagging, the carpet...

The rooms are large, clean, and have everything necessary for a short or long stay. The staff was wonderful!!!! I do not think that we wanted for anything. The building is old but really well maintained. They offer pet friendly rooms and NON pet rooms for those that need pet free zones. The rooms are nonsmoking but they have smoking...

We were warmly welcomed to this motel by Fern. The room was a nice size and it was quiet. The breakfast was very good (bagels, muffins, cereal, toast, coffee , juice, milk). Fern was very helpful in directing me to a walk-in clinic for medical attention. We were even given a later checkout time because of this. I would definitely...

We ended up taking our dog on this trip, it was good to learn they had pet rooms available at a small additional cost. Hotel is in a very convenient part of town, not too far out. We always know what we will get at the La Chateau!
