We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to U of O’s athletic facilities. It’s a newer property and in very good shape. While it’s not a “5 star hotel” it gets 5 stars from me for the type of hotel it is & value for what you get. Rooms are good size, modern (internet TV), very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the hotel having large dispensers of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower rather than those teeny tiny bottles that are an environmental crime. They also had a shower head with a hose, which is a luxury if you have to bathe young children. Each room has a yoga mat, exercise ball, exercise bands, foam roller, and yoga block. I’d never seen this before in a hotel, and I enjoyed having it. I’m not a big yoga person, but it was nice to be able to use the mat and do some stretching. There’s a small pool and a larger than average hotel size workout room. With Covid, the pool and exercise room required a reservation, which was responsible of them. There’s also free parking. And there’s breakfast available for purchase, as well as some grab and go snack foods. The staff seemed like they were college students, but they were very responsible and service oriented. If we’re back in Eugene, I’d stay here again.

Hotel's Favorite
This hotel was easy to find, lots of parking and the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The front desk customer service was super friendly. I loved that they had equipment in your room to work out...after driving 7 hours, I needed to stretch on the yoga mat. I felt like I was in luxury. I got the best night sleep in a comfortable bed. Thank you and I will definitely stay here again on my way up north.

Dear Truendug, I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed our yoga and workout equipment in the rooms! With all the crazy happening right now, and with gyms being temporarily closed, we are super grateful we are able to offer at least that for our guests! We look forward to seeing you again! Best, Melanie Bickley

1. Booked in hotels.com and on the date of check in got a call to see if I can change my room type because third party sites do not reflect their room type inventory correctly. Well, shouldn’t this be checked ahead of time before the cancellation window? 2. Room has sports and fitness equipment such as yoga mat and block, elastic bands. Gym is available and there’s on site heated pool, great fir kids. But the pool capacity is 8 ppl but nobody is there to check and enforce. We had a group of young men busted in that forced other guests out. 3. Room amenities are very limited. We booked for 3 people but there are only 2 sets of towels and cups. 4. Common area has microwave and hot water machine. Room has fridge and coffee machine. 5. Breakfast is not complementary. They have $15 for 2 breakfast deal that includes hot sandwich. Also some snacks in common area for sale. No complementary water bottles. 6. Room has no tub and only bulk size shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, there’s no lotion or other vanity items. 7. A lot of cute printed messages everywhere, in rooms or in public places. 8. There are carts for self service use. 9. Parking is on site and free. 10. TV channels don’t have Disney, but it has YouTube.

This hotel is located near two medical/surgical facilities and is on the list of hotels to use, however the facility is definitely not the place to stay if convenience and access is important. The office lobby is on the second floor, and one must use the elevator to achieve access. There is no seating at the entrance, nor in the lobby for a patient or elderly to sit. There is little or no food service on location and one must navigate heavy traffic to find food. Delivery is awkward because of the upstairs lobby with no seating. Our room had no handrails in the bathroom either inside or outside of the shower nor at the toilet. One swivel desk chair was the only seating inside our room, and it was unstable for anyone not nimble enough to sit down. Convenience supply for hot drinks were sparse., I.e. coffee, tea, creamer, sugar. Almost nothing. Only the desk clerk was available , and she was busy. This hotel is a poorly conceived new concept that is supposed to be health wellness friendly. I would say it lacks creature comforts, many necessities, and service. We would stay at any number of other local hotels.

Have stayed here for business a few dozen times and the rooms have always been clean and well set up. The staff is always helpful and professional. The gym is really good as well and location to running trails is a bonus.
