Our stay was there, They have created a great place to stay but more than that they are so nice and adding up the two elements the place is perfect. Sitting out back with a glass of wine and watching the stars was the perfect end to a day of wine tasting and they location is prefect for both.

After my first stay at Franziska Haus, I was sure nothing could top this B&B. That was a few years ago, and I've wanted to return ever since. My husband and I did just that for our wedding anniversary last weekend. Franziska Haus TOPPED ITSELF! Brigitte and Clark have completed buildings that didn't even exist last time. Each accommodation is unique, and of course, I want an opportunity to experience each one--so that will mean returning several more times. After that it will have become a habit. When I experience the graciousness of the innkeepers, I think that surely such a life must be a true vocation of creating beauty, rest and welcome to a world of strangers who come to renew themselves and leave as friends. I'm fantasizing now about the new orchard room which would be a

Last week we returned to our favorite B&B, Franziska Haus in Dundee, Oregon to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We marveled at how the landscaping had evolved since our last visit and at the expansive beauty of the two new rooms in the second lodge. We stayed in the upstairs suite in the main lodge overlooking the great hall and in the hall itself spend several delightful hours chatting with hosts Brigitte and Clark and visitors from down the road. The room, bed and amenities were totally comfortable as always, the setting tranquil and perfect for a long stroll with Romy, the lodge dog.

The pleasure was definitely ours John! at seeing you both again. We enjoy our special "visiting authors" immensely :) Many of our guests have been able to enjoy your books that you have graciously left for us to share over the last couple of years and now we have a new title on hand, "Leaving My Broken Home" a tribute to Japanese poet Matsuo Basho. Thank you John!

Clark and Brigitte have created a beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable retreat at Franziska Haus, which is the perfect place to recover from an arduous day of wine tasting. We stayed 3 nights in the Franziska Suite, which is upstairs in the main house and has a separate reading area (with sofa and fridge) and roomy attached bath. The king-sized bed was very comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of space for clothes, suitcases, and wine boxes. Morning coffee was followed by one of Brigitte's delicious and filling breakfasts, which kept us going well into the afternoon! Brigitte and Clark are wonderful hosts who are well connected to many of the nearby wineries, and are more than glad to share their insights with their guests. It was hard to leave, and we will be quick to return!

Beautiful place and beautiful setting. We stayed during the winter and the large fireplace and grand piano made for a cozy get away. Bridgette and Clark were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing.
