My wife and I needed a place to hideout for a few days while she healed from a cold. Bridgette and Clark were fabulous hosts, offering us their largest room and cooking up scrumptious breakfasts and suggesting daily activities. The rooms are large and spotless, the gardens are beautiful, and the hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a friendly and comfortable place to stay!

A friend and I stayed here just one night (unfortunately) about a week ago. What a beautiful property, Our host and hostess were gracious and friendly. Our host was very knowledgeable and helpful with food and wine close by, and our hostess prepared a wonderfully delicious breakfast the next morning before we headed out to taste wine. Our accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting local wineries. It is a great spot for a family get together. We will definitely be back.

The guest rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. There is a huge room for breakfast and sitting round the fire. The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds have places to sit and admire the views. This is a very good place from which to explore the Wilamette valley, especially it's wineries.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Franziska House bed and breakfast. Hosts Clark and Bridgette were very pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in the Orchard Room which was very clean comfortable and quiet - exactly what I look for in a B&B! The gardens are lovely and I took home many ideas for my yard. Breakfasts were delicious but not served until 9am which might be hard if you are on East Coast time! There are many wineries in the area and the hosts will be happy to make recommendations. We will return the next time we visit the Willamette Valley! Thanks Clark and Bridgette,

Thank you so much Cynthia for staying with us and your very kind review! You and your friends were the perfect guests! Like I mentioned, that after that many days of getting to know people, it is sometimes hard to say good bye. And it is always such a great pleasure to share "garden talk" with kindred spirit gardners. Thank you also for your input regarding breakfast times. We value candid feedback in order to continue striving to improve. We do try to accommodate all the varied time zone differences and needs. .. and hopefully having served earlier breakfasts to your group was helpful. We do begin putting coffee, tea and pre breakfast food items out at 7:00. Please feel free to let us know next time if you would like breakfast even earlier and we can make something work! All the best to you! Take Care, Brigitte & Clark

Beautiful log-like residence. Bedroom was bright and cheery, and very comfortable. Wifi, but no tv or phone. Good location for visiting local wineries. Breakfast not served until 0900 — fine for wine-tasting, not so for early departures. First bfst was fruit & yogurt, frittata wedge, and salad garnish. 2nd bfst was fruit & yogurt, cast iron pancakes with berries, whipped cream & syrup, and bacon -- both excellent. Coffee was available at 0700. We'd stay here again.
