I am an experienced traveler and have stayed all over Europe and the States, this Inn is magnificently amazing. Wow really, impressive. It's the feel, the location, the peace and isolation and Gorgeous Views that is so appealing. Fire pits all around in quiet sitting areas around the property, some covered for when it's raining. Really when you get there you just do not want to leave. The rooms, I like either #1 or #6, with 6 being the more private and secluded with private fire pit. Gorgeous Rooms, space that you don't usually get, but I like suites they deliver in a big way. French press coffee ready to go in your room when you want it, lovely tea and of course they start you off with some of their wines. The breakfast was amazing and delicious and just the way you want it. Lovely grounds, really special for small weddings or special occasion assembly, just beautiful. Colin and his team were all special professionals for such young people. But they deliver in whatever you need. They do dinner as well if you like but need notice of course, don't just drop in for dinner or you will be disappointed. It's a place you just don't want to leave, play corn hole, sip wine, enjoy the peace and views with the fire pits. All worth every dime you will pay.

We stayed at the Black Walnut Inn for 1 night in June 2020. We were warmly received and shown around by Laura and were immediately blown away by the beauty of the villa and surrounding property. Our room was beautifully furnished and had a balcony with a vineyard view. The bed was comfortable and indulgent. The bathroom was thoughtfully appointed with just about anything you could need. When we returned from dinner the fire pit was lit in the backyard and the candles were lit in the living room. My boyfriend played the baby grand piano and it was magical. Breakfast was outstanding. Chase, the chef introduced himself and explained that the food was locally sourced and prepared by him. I’m only sorry I didn’t order everything on the menu. I looked at many options in the area and this one just kept coming out on top. It was more than we wanted to spend but I’m so glad we did because in the end it was a memorable experience. This is great for a romantic getaway and we’d love to go back and stay longer.

The folks there couldn't have been nicer. Lots of beautiful views and plenty of seating for everyone (never felt crowded and with a glass of wine sitting outside looking at the Dundee Hills, was very relaxing). Breakfast is awesome (both in quantity and quality). Couldn't pick a better nicer place in a great location to lots of vineyards nearby. If they had a restaurant there might not have ever left....

We loved our stay here! We went as part of our honeymoon. Really everything about this place is great. The rooms and lodging are luxurious. The scenery is outstanding. The service and staff are very friendly. The food is incredible. Honestly this is the best hotel/resort food we've had and the best food we had in Oregon wine country. They have a complimentary breakfast as well as dinners you can prepurchase. Would definitely recommend having dinner there at least one night. Would go back for sure!

My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary at the Black Walnut inn and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quiet, comfortable, luxury in the Oregon wine country. This has to be one of the absolute nicest places I have ever stayed. The views are really breathtaking! Breakfast was awesome, prepared by a top notch chef. The location is great as well, it is only minutes away from several great local wineries. We stayed in room 8 in the carriage house. It is one of the less expensive rooms, but absolutely fabulous none the less. The only thing missing is a view of the vineyards, which is why it comes at a lower price. There are, however, several public seating areas where you can enjoy views of the valley and vineyards. Being in the carriage house, this room provides tons of privacy and makes you feel like you have the entire property to yourself. You absolutely can not go wrong staying at the Black Walnut!
