The Black Walnut was recommended by friends that had stayed here in the past. This inn did not disappoint. We stayed four nights. Beautiful Italian style building in a beautiful setting. We felt like we were in Tuscany. The rooms were well appointed and clean. Such a friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts were full of wonderfully delicious choices made to order. We loved the Black Walnut!
We absolutely loved our stay at Black Walnut. The views were stunning, rooms spacious and well appointed. The bed and sheets were so comfortable! Hospitality was top notch and breakfast was incredible!

Loved it! The place is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food was amazing. We added on a wine tasting and dinner. Both were great. The view on the patio can’t be beat. We will definitely be coming back.
Beautiful property, amazing food & friendly, attentive staff ~ the perfect recipe for a lovely getaway! We would recommend Black Walnut to anyone, and will be back to enjoy fir another stay. There is so much to see and do .., or to relax and just take on from the resort. Loved our time here ❤️
Lovely property, quiet and restful with a laidback vibe. Friendly service from the staff. Full breakfast every morning with a variety of offerings for any appetite. Rooms are large with luxurious appointments throughout. Lots of windows to enjoy spectacular views from high on a hill. There’s fire pits outside for chippy nights and a big fireplace in the living room for a nightcap or an after breakfast coffee. Close enough to lots of wineries (a couple are walkable) but far from the hubbub. Some evenings the chefs serve a 3 course meal that is delicious if you’re looking for a comfortable wine country stay, this is the place. Tip: couples will enjoy the best
If I could give Black Walnut 1000 stars, I would! The first word that comes to mind is WOW. Our stay at Black Walnut Vineyard was nothing short of amazing. The service is TOP NOTCH. Collin, especially, is the absolute best! He is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable on all things Willamette Valley. He provided recommendations to great wineries and restaurants. The entire staff is extremely friendly, and the word “no” is certainly not in their vocabulary. They even helped us package and ship our wine. And hats off to Chef Chase. His food is incredible! We could not wait to go to breakfast in the morning which was outstanding! The food is fresh and delicious. Even on our last day when Chef knew we wouldn’t be able to go to breakfast because we had to leave very early for the airport, he packed us up some of his amazing breakfast scones which we devoured at the airport! And if you have time to dinner at Black Walnut, absolutely do it! We had the most spectacular meal with Chef Chase. The food was just the best. To top it all off, the grounds. Wow is Black Walnut a hidden gem. It is a Tuscan villa taken straight from Italy. The grounds are absolutely stunning. The views of the beautiful Dundee hills are spectacular. The property itself is great too. The main house is straight out of a Restoration Hardware catalog (literally). It’s beautifully decorated and there are plenty of things to do. You can lounge on one of the many patios, sit by the fire pits, play Corn Hole, or just simply open a bottle of wine and just sit to enjoy the view (with blankets provided if it’s chilly, of course). Our room was also so beautiful. We had a big comfortable bed and the room had all the amenities and more. Our favorite part of the room was the private patio with Adirondack chairs where we would sit and enjoy our wine each day. I cannot say enough good things about Black Walnut. They truly make you feel like family here. I always thought going to Oregon would be a one-time experience. However, after staying at Black Walnut, I am already wanting to plan to return and stay here because it was just that good.…
From the moment you walk in you are greeted with wine and smiles. The views were amazing. Breakfast with farm fresh eggs and meat from the local butcher. The tasting and meal was phenomenal. The bed was so comfortable and the linen was buttery soft. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The view of the vineyard from the room was magnificent. The guest service was five stars. Overall, worth the money and I had a wonderful stay.
Black walnut in sits a top the rolling Hills of Dundee Oregon with fantastic views. Service is exceptional, try the Pinot noir kombucha from their vineyard. You will never go hungry. Patio fireplace is running most of the day.
Although the weather is cold in march, it’s a nice luxurious spot to visit with their ambience, decor, and services! Love that you can communicate both via text and phone when you are there. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again in the summer if not already booked up!
