We stayed 2 nights in a handicap suite with great ocean view in Bldg. #1. We will be staying there again. Great fireplace, refrig and microwave. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. We had a private deck looking out at the ocean

Started off with getting there an hour early on a Sunday, Walked in, said who I was and the possibility of checking in early. Was greeted with a very rude hello and no you cannot. Ok i said, still in a good humor in spite of the rude greeting. I was told that they would phone me to let me... More

We recently spent 3 nights at the Surfrider. I've been going to this hotel since I was a child - probably at least 45 years. It's located right next to Fogarty Creek State Park and has a great beach although the access is a bit steep - lots of stairs - if you have mobility issues. The good news is... More

Room was clean, nicely appointed with comfortable bed. View was beautiful from both the room and private balcony. Would recommend that you keep your eyes open when approaching on south bound Rte. 101; we nearly blew right past. The signage is much more noticeable when approaching on north bound Rte.101.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights recently. The room was dusty. The overhead fan wobbled so much that I would not let my husband turn it on. When we had our room cleaned, they did not vacuum, dust or clean the bathroom. I talked to the front desk staff but they said their housekeeping staff just "freshens"... More

I purchased a package deal from Portland's Fox 12 Daily Deals, best decision. It came with 2 nights stay in a king room and a $40 food credit at the restaurant. My husband and I stayed in building 3 in room 68. Loved the views and being able to hear the ocean. The windows are small, but I felt they... More

I had purchased a package from FOX12 coupons; 2 night stay in a king size bedroom and $40 food voucher for the restaurant. Set the reservation for the "worst weekend storm" warning in October and still ventured down to Depoe Bay from Seaside. Arrived later that night and the guest services representative assured us and another guest that she had... More

Just stayed for our annual 3-4 night visit and I must say I've seen some improvements over last year. To start with the beds in the adult building seem to be new and are extremely comfortable. The decks and walkways have fresh paint , and we had new chairs in our room. Also noticed the staircase to the beach has finally... More

This motel has a spectacular view of the ocean but virtually nothing else to recommend it to travelers. The room was dated. The ceiling fan wobbled so much that I did not let my husband turn it on fearing it would fall. The toilet water would rise to the top before slowly receding. The only day we asked for cleaning... My boyfriend and I stayed here for our one year anniversary after buying a Portland Perk. It was worth every penny. The views are great and the rooms are comfortable. The only downside was the room was a bit warm and the balconies are shared so we couldn't leave the door open. The small windows that could be opened let... More
