Last time we were here was 5 years ago, and I reviewed it at that time. It hasn't changed much other than now being a Clarion Inn. We only stayed one night because a heat wave was predicted and like most places on the coast, there's no air conditioning. Too make things worse, one of the two small windows that... More

The good: The view is absolutely stunning, expansive and not too far above the waves. You can hear the surf but no road noise from highway 101. The room was clean and smelled good and the bed was comfortable. We ordered sandwiches from the restaurant and they were tasty. The front desk went to bat for us to allow us... More

We stayed here one night on our trip down the Oregon Coast. All the rooms are oceanfront. Spectacular views. The rooms are quite dated but the beds are new and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is excellent. A pretty good value for the money.

We were given a huge room with a great balcony looking right down onto the ocean, and the first thing we saw was a grey whale & seals right below us. We were in building three which to me seemed to have the best views. We had a fridge & microwave plus the usual coffee machine. Beds & pillow comfy... More

Fantastic views room 81 of beach and shoreline north including light house In the distance, clean and uncomfortable bed, windows needed maintenance. But, would stay again, great restaurants with breakfasts close by. A great start to our trip!

We recently had a sibling/family reunion at Depoe Bay, Oregon and all 18 of us stayed at the lovely Surfrider Resort right on the beach. We loved the suites that were two rooms just perfect for family gatherings. All rooms were ocean view and we sat on our decks and watched the whales go by. The resort had a restaurant... More

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The grounds are well kept, the room was clean and pleasant. All the rooms look over the bay, and the lower rooms have a patio that extends out to a grassy area, the second floor rooms have balconies. The beach is a very short walk down some stairs. The restaurant and bar, on the... More

They have done some updates to the room however, our carpet in room 43 was stained badly. It's also right next to the room used to store the maid supplies and venting for the laundry facilities. We booked a deluxe room and it was not deluxe purely due to the location of the room and having to share a balcony... More

This motel is a little older. You will not find extra outlets or any air conditioning here. They did have a fan in the room. There was a great balcony, it is shared with your neighbor but does have personal seating. The views is where it is. Wow!!!! Ocean, rocks, waves, flowers, wildlife...oh my! No elevator. The staff was friendly... More
