This is our second visit. We stayed in the Field and Stream both times. The room is very clean, comfortable (we had a/c to save us from the heat) and reasonably priced. Mike (the host) is friendly and accommodating. We love the charming little town of Dayville, too. If we are exploring in the area, the Fish House Inn the...

Beautiful little RV park. Very well kept and clean. Mike was a great host and takes such excellent care of his property. I loved the laundry facility. Danville is a beautiful little town and so close to attractions. The Dayville Cafe is a must.

Arrived having made reservations, Mike the owner welcomed us with a casual hello. He's a laid back dude with a pride for his property and a willingness to leave guests alone. (We appreciate this). The location is great, right in the middle of this little town. Nearby for the sight seeker are the Painted Hills and the Fossil National Monument....

We stayed at this park for a few nights while traveling along the John Day River. It's a small park, but perfect for the occasion. Nice owner, lots of grass and well maintained, full hook-ups, sites are pretty level, laundry, showers/restrooms were clean. We walked to the diner and the Dayville Mercantile. Space 1 is the best for opening up...

We stayed twice in one of the rooms/cottages. This a really cute place, with RV spots, nice lawns, cute little cottages with a few rooms, lots of character. And in a beautiful valley and area. Bring food! There is not much going on in Dayville, really.

We had mixed emotions about staying at this property. The reviews we read were all over the board, but we decided to brave any unpleasant outcome. All in all it was a good place to stay during our visit to the area. Let me say first that the grounds are extremely well kept. A welcoming atmosphere of cool, peaceful, calm,...

Stayed for a night while touring the John Day Fossil Beds. Very well tended grounds off the main highway, and there's an inn that looks more like a B&B onsite, too. Probably 5-6 RV spots and a few grassy areas for tents. Good shade from well-established trees. The gruff old man running the place is actually pretty nice once you...

Nice park, enough space, full hook ups, clean restrooms, level spots, and most importantly the only rv park in the area with full services. I thought that review was short and to the point, but trip advisor wants more details, so i'll say i would stay hear the next time through.

Stayed here for a night while visiting John Day Fossil Beds. There aren't a whole lot of options for lodging in the area, but Fish House Inn was actually very nice. They have both camping and rooms; I opted for a room as it was only $50/night. The owner, Mike, was very nice and showed me around and made sure...

The name of the Fish House Inn and RV Park suggests it may be a bit on the primitive side. we were overnighting after spending time at the John Day Fossil Beds, and found Michael the owner of the park extremely friendly and helpful. We rented the two bedroom "Mainhouse" for one night, my Wife and I, and her adult...

“From what I've seen all of the rooms are unique and it really depends on what suits the individual we liked the cottage theme but another guest I met said the main house was great and the rates are amazing.”

“All of the upstairs rooms were nice. Field and Stream and Seaside were the quaintest--each had a little alcove with a twin bed in it for the little one. Cattail Cove is fine--just one bed, though.”
