I really, really wanted to like this place, and was thrilled to book a cabin for two nights. The setting is absolutely beautiful and we were just fine with having a rustic cabin rather than a fancy hotel. However, we did expect a quiet and comfortable place to sleep each night and boy, were we disappointed. Little did we know...

Thank you for your input, but, unfortunately, trains running through the base of the Diamond Peaks Wilderness, is a nostalgic form of transportation which is outside the scope of our control. Train schedules show an average of 7 or 8 trains within a entire 24 hour period. I sincerely regret, however, that your sleep was disrupted by this.

At the end of a long day of travel, I was exhausted but heard about a place to stay - no reservations. I found the Odell Lake Lodge & Resort on the SE side of the Odell Lake near Crescent Lake, OR. I saw dollar signs but I was too tired to look further. It was a magnificent log lodge...

The road going through the camping area is quite narrow with low hanging branches. I called the resort and spoke with John. I explained that we had a 35 foot motor home and would be pulling a 20 foot boat. The overall length is right at 57 feet. I explained that to John and was told that the site that...

Thank you for your input. Typical procedure for parking a 35' RV and 20' boat would be to disconnect. The boat would either fit beside the RV or we have lots of space along our marina for boat trailer parking. I am sincerely sorry for any misunderstanding or inconvenience.

Just come back from a 4 days vacation at Lake Odell. The place is really amazing: large lake, lots of fishing opportunities, boats, kayaking, peddle boats... Chalets are clean and comfortable. Close by there is Odell Creek that is very relaxing as well. The facility has children play structure. Food at the restaurant is decent.

Make sure when u check in that you have printed confirmation. I could get access to phone cause dropped signal. I ended paying more money than what I owed. Also make sure you have all the supplies you need cause they charge outrageous prices. Whatever you do please don't going horse back riding. One horse had gotten in fight with...

This is a small place in the middle of nowhere. My family has been coming for a week as a family reunion for years. It is not a 5 star resort, so if you go in with that expectation you will be disappointed. But this place is beautiful. Great lake, great fishing, and stunning views.

We were so looking forward to our night in a rustic cabin on a lake. Cabin 3 certainly doesn't meet the description on Odell's website. 'Rustic' is fun and quaint but in this case it just meant dumpy - which actually describes the whole setup from the jettiies to trails to overall appearance. The cabin was very small. That's OK...

We just got back from a great stay in the campground of the Lodge Property. Our space was right on the shore of Odell Lake. It was wonderful to wake up to the sight & sound of the lake. The folks at the Lodge where very kind and helpful. We loved that we could rent a slip for our boat...

My wife and I have stayed in Cabin-10 at Odell Lake Resort, for one week, every year, for the last thirty years. We like the accommodations. The staff do everything that staff is supposed to do. The surroundings are beautiful-squared. Available activities-beyond-the-lake....are wonderful-and-nearly-countless. I can "quantify" the fishing this way: If I put in four hours, I pretty-well know that...
