I've been staying at this Super-8 for years, but it's gone entirely downhill. Toilet plugged and flooded bathroom. No alternative room available within the time I had available in the morning. Will never stay there again!
We stayed on a Tuesday night. Trouble started with trying to make the reservation--we clicked on THEIR website number, which took us to some kind of center in South America. Communicating difficult. We specified 5 times a first floor room as this was the night prior to a back surgery appt. Agent guaranteed it would be accommodated. We arrived at check-in time. No rooms available on the first floor. Elevator broken. No refunds. Finally we finagled a handicapped room, which reeked of disinfectant. Our clothes still smell of it. There was no "river view" as promoted, although the hotel is near the river. No pool. No breakfast as had been advertised. The room heat didn't work at all. The noise level from other guests was intolerable--and actually woke us up at 2 a.m. and at 5 a.m. The poor little boy next door was calling out for his mother--but he was able to wake us far before her. And there was evidently a slumber party on the other side. We could hear their jokes and their giggles. There was noise from the parking lot by the river under our window--people yelling obscenities at passersby--so pleasant. Maybe worst of all, although the shabby furniture is a close second, was the room door itself. It rattled every time anybody did anything all along the hallway: if they opened or closed a room door, if they entered the bldg., it rattled as if someone were pounding on the door or trying to get in. We stuffed towels under and against the door to try to keep if from rattling, but with little success. We got very little sleep and won't ever ever stay there again.…
Old motel, reasonably quiet. Room with dated decor, but clean. No luggage rack. There is a desk area but no power jacks nearby. Room amenities included refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom with everything in working order. Wifi worked well. No breakfast provided (not even a breakfast box) despite the reservation (on Booking.com) stating "Breakfast is included in the final price". I understand Covid-related restrictions, however it has been over a year, so it's about time to update the listing!
Close to downtown and the rooms are comfortable and quiet. The internet was sound. We needed a place to rest and stay warm during a power outage, and this place provided just that. There are also a lot of nice services available in Corvallis.
Everyone was incredibly kind, very helpful and the hotel was very well maintained. The location was perfect walking distance to several different restaurants, the overall grounds are very well taken care of outside as well! Rooms are very clean and the beds are incredibly comfortable!!
