This was a reasonably priced motel. No elevator and you may prefer springing a little extra dough for a water view as opposed to a parking lot view including Safeway or Fred Meyer parking lots. Comfortable, friendly staff, but I do agree with another reviewer who was concerned about the lack of safety latch. Also, the water went from hot...

I needed a pet friendly place and Edgewater was all I found at the time. I was pleasantly surprised. It appears pretty standard from the outside to the inside. The surprise is outside. The sliding glass door opens to a patio and a grassy yard that opens up to the river. It is very quiet and pretty especially at night....

I decided to go small chain instead of the big boys. Last time I stayed at Best Western in Coos Bay I didn't care for it. Edgewater had decent reviews (thanks!) and close to downtown. The things I liked: quiet area, room was good, customer service satisfactory. The things I didn't like: music playing in hallways I could hear from...

I'll start with the good parts. My room was very clean and quiet. However, the room was extremely outdates- as in 80s furnishing...very worse for wear. The part that made me uncomfortable was, the door did not have a security latch. It had a deadbolt, but not the extra bar/latch. As a woman traveling alone- I was not happy about...

Superb location down on the riverside with views to the lighthouse and ocean. Warm and friendly environment with super friendly staff. To cut to the chase, the seafood menu served here is outstanding. I have eaten seafood all ove the world and the Romanesco dish was extraordinary - throw in the glass of King Estate Chardonnay they recommend and you...

This motel looks older, not a franchise brand, so I told my husband I wanted to check it out before we brought our stuff up to the room. You know the routine, smell & look. Didn't smell funny & was clean. As it turns out we really enjoyed our stay. We had room #228, it overlooks the river that runs...

Older motel with a few cosmetic issues but quiet, clean, friendly and convenient. Nice water view from the back (not the parking lot side) of the estuary, and you're able to walk along the edge to relax after a busy day at the beach or golf or....; without leaving the site.

We stayed at the Edgewater Inn on a visit to Southwestern Oregon Community College this spring. We found the room clean and the grounds were enjoyable along the water. It was easy to find, we were exhausted by the time we arrived so to find it so easily was a plus. We enjoyed our little breakfast in the morning and...

We stayed two nights at the Edgewater, where we have stayed many times before. It is not part of a chain and its location is, well, unique and, as a result fairly quiet. It is less expensive than others in town, clean, and well-maintained. We had two small dogs with us and were pleased that our room was on the...
