I am extremely disappointed from this stay. Not once in the website does it say it's only a few hundred feet away from train tracks... Every 30/40 minutes ALL NIGHT trains go by and blow their horns. I did not get a single hour of sleep that night. Also, there is only one bathroom for the ENTIRE campground! Four bathroom... More

While staying in Cascade Locks for a few days of sightseeing in the Columbia River Gorge we decided to try a KOA cabin. We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin. We chose one with a queen bed as only my wife and I were staying. The cabin was clean with a ceiling fan that kept some air flowing during our stay,... More

The KOA was ok, it served as a good base camp for other activities in the area. Bathrooms a little smelly but clean. Great little play area for kids, and a pool. The trains go by all times during the day and night and are EXTREMELY loud. They woke all of us up multiple times during the night. We had... More

After thoroughly researching where to RV camp in Cascade Locks, we settled on the KOA. It should be noted that there are only three RV parks in all of Cascade Locks. First impressions: we received a very warm welcome by two ladies when we arrived in the late afternoon. Staff even helped us back in, as well as other campers.... More

Absolutely loved all the trees within this KOA and the tent sites were fairly private without being completely blocked off from the entire kampground. But oh my gosh I think the train went by right on the other side of a tree line, horn blowing and everything. Luckily I read other reviews here and we brought earplugs. As with the... More

We enjoyed our stay at this campground. We were RV camping. There are beautiful trees on the grounds. It's really the area that makes this RV campground so nice. There were bikes for rent which my children really enjoyed. They also enjoyed the swimming pool and the pancake breakfasts on the weekend. Our only issue with the campground was we... More

Nice size tent space and under the trees for shade. Nice location to explore nearby waterfalls and mountains. No "quiet time" enforced. People were loudly drinking and playing music until 2am. Also the very close train crossing startled us awake several times through the night. Pool, hot tub and bathrooms quite dirty. I didn't expect much from a campground but... More

A nice park in the woods, but when it rains, it is really muddy. Lots to do. Location is great, between the historic Columbia River Highway with it's falls, the Bonneville Lock and Dam, and Fish Hatchery, and The Dalles to the east. Staff were very helpful. Most roads are paved, but sites are gravel and grass.

The grounds are what you might expect of a typical KOA. Despite the limited number of bathrooms for the number of guests and the frequent trains it IS a nice place to stay. It is close to many places to see; waterfalls, good food, breweries and the river.

The campground is nice but next to train tracks. The train goes by a lot if that is a problem for you. It was not a problem for us and never heard it at night. Lots are level and ruffly paved. Lots are long and wide enough for slides. Good size for KOA. Water pressure good, cable good, WiFi good.... More
