I struggle to review this motel because it wasn't horrible and it has a certain low rent charm. The photos on their website are idealized images - it isn't nearly as warm and cozy as the color saturated photos imply. The lights didn't all work and there was no bedside lamp for reading. The internet worked fine. We discovered there... More

The good: great location in the center of town; walking distance to restaurants, hiking trails and the marina/park. The king bed was very comfortable. The bad (and it was bad): the property is run down and needs basic repairs like paint, door knobs and locks. Security in the room was minimal ( the dead bolt did not work). We were... More

The fabric upholstered chairs outside the rooms on the sidewalk says all that needs to be said. The cable TV didn't work reliably. This is Oregon, there's gonna be clouds, they obviously have a satellite service and over half the stations didn't stream on the cloudy day we stayed there. The room itself was nice. Small, but clean. The toilet... More

Basic room which needs to be updated. Tourist location which allows businesses to up their rates on mediocre accommodations. Room was clean but no light blanket, just a sheet and very heavy bed spread. It was hot, so thankful air condition was working well.

We had problems with our reservation at a different hotel and they sent us here. The shabby exterior was matched by a shabby reception area and a really bad looking home near by. But the room was large and clean with new AC units, frig, microwave mattress and plumbing. Furniture is dated, but functional, Obviously, the new owner was putting... More

Stayed here with my daughter for one night before a rafting trip. When we arrived, we could not open the door. The attendant came and got the door open, then we could not open the door from the inside to get back out and there was no phone in the room to call the front desk. The curtains did not... More

Eight guys recently traveling on motorcycles thru the Columbia River Gorge, just looking for a place to stop for the night. We did not have reservations in the area, and were a bit surprised by the amount of tourists in the Gorge( July 5th ) a Tues. We were lucky to get four double rooms at the CGI. Rooms were a... More

Ok,so obviously the place is in need of a facelift outside. The bathrooms are a little dodgy as the shower and toilet are literally in the same space. The owners are quite friendly and helpful. The room and grounds very quiet. My only real negatives were the wifi, which would drop out from time to time and the owners would need... More

Great place to stay, wonderful people the front of hotel is a little out dated but the room we stayed in was remodeled and nice! We will stay again. The room was a queen bed. The bathroom and shower are in one room. Close to restaurant and pretty very of the mountains.

While the bed was comfortable and the staff nice, there was no dead bolt on the room. The dead bolt when inspected had the locking mechanism missing. I had to put the suitcase rack in front of the door for safety. There was no blanket, only the comforter, which stank of someones body odor! Really gross. I would not recommend... More
