Great location - less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and close to restaurants on the main street. The room was spotless and comfortable. Receptionist followed strict masking and sanitizing. Lovely place. We will definitely return in the future.
We stayed in an upstairs King Studio w sofa bed, dubbed the “Dark & Stormy” room by managers Hannah & Erik due to its decor. Plenty of space, nice little kitchenette (dishes etc upon request at check-in) & balcony. Didn’t need the fireplace, but nice it’s there. Many extras available (DVDs, beach chairs etc). Location on S Hemlock a short walk to beach/Haystock Rock & to a few restaurants. If you’re a birder, talk to Hannah or Erik for suggested locations based on your target birds; he told us where to have the best chance to find an American Dipper...and we did!
This hotel only had a few rooms, but the king suite was pretty big. Nice balcony, lots of storage for your clothes and amenities. The kitchen area was nice, but there is no stove. Great location, only a couple blocks from the beach and all of the shopping and food. The owners were very friendly and fully available. Very nice stay. Will come back!
Sea Breeze exceeded our expectations! Amazingly comfortable, clean, dog friendly hotel. Our second floor room was quiet and had a balcony with a beautiful view of Haystack Rock and a peak of the ocean. It is a block to several beach access points and walkable to everything you need. Because of the pandemic we did not want to be around a lot of people and mostly managed to social distance because we were away from downtown. I wish the bathroom had more counter space but that’s very minor compared to all you get. Worth every cent and we were very sorry to leave. We will be back for sure!
We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem, and how close it was (a block) to the beach. It’s a small property with beautiful flowers and greenery- our patio had no view but was surrounded by gorgeous wildflowers. And since I love to read reviews with pros and cons, here are some of ours: Pros- pet friendly, a block from the beach, ceiling fan, comfy bed, kitchenette, gas fireplace. Strong coffee. Nice layout (we had a king/sofa bed room) that made it seem spacious. The fridge and freezer worked well! (We often find that hotel fridges aren’t cold enough) Half a mile pleasant walk to the main restaurants. Within a few blocks either way are several easy beach access points with little or no stairs (as opposed to steep long staircases) Cons- no screen in sliding patio door (prob our biggest con), dusty fixtures, walls are thin and dogs are allowed upstairs- there was one above us with a very heavy thumping tail 😆 we put the bathroom fan on to help muffle the noise. Of course it’s just hit or miss on how quiet or loud your neighbors are, but still worth noting. We will be back for sure!…
