This was our first time staying at the Lighthouse Inn and we were so pleasantly surprised. Check-in (at The Inn at Cannon Beach in Tolovana Park) was smooth and we loved the welcome gifts of taffy, cookies, and beach toys. Our room was nicely updated and well stocked in the kitchen. Our dog LOVED the patio and spent most of his time hanging outside admiring the neighborhood view. We had a great peek a boo view and could see the top of Haystack over the buildings. Beds were comfy and we slept great. The location was perfect for snagging dinner to-go from downtown and we had so much fun renting beach bikes across the street. All in all, an amazing trip and we loved our stay. We will be back!

We love staying here with our dog. They had dog treats, frisbee and dog dish ready. Love the bath salts. Did not try the breakfast. Couch not comfortable. Bed was good. Not enough room to cook. You can't put dishes back in the cupboard because they are sterilized so they sit on the counter. Another cupboard would be helpful. Love the short walk to town and beach. Will be back again!

Loved staying here, the rooms were clean and spacious, shower had great water pressure, you could hear the ocean from your balcony and it’s less than 5 minutes to walk across the street to get to the beach.
Check in is about a mile down the road but very easy, they even give you free fresh baked cookies! Overall 10/10 stay.

The extra blanket for the pull out bed was moldy & decaying, Outlets didn’t work well. The deck had been painted and was very smelly. It was difficult to enjoy sitting on the deck with the stench. It was a great location & could have been a lot better if a little money was spent getting new sheets & blankets & towels

A comfortable stay in a great location. Our only complaint was having to check in at a different location. While breakfast was included, it was also at a different property and we were warned there was limited seating. It didn’t seem worth driving to a different hotel for a breakfast that “might” be available, so that decreased the value a bit for us. Otherwise, the location is excellent, the room quiet and comfortable. It was a pleasant stay overall.

The Lighthouse Inn was an excellent and quiet place to stay. We had 2 small children who loved the pull-out couch. Two tvs and kitchenette were nice. The Inn is centrally located, and walkable distance to many shops and restaurants. You have to check in at the Cannon Beach Inn, located 1.5 mi south, and the breakfast is located there as well. The Inn is small, only a few rooms tucked away. The parking is TIGHT, so don't bring your big rig. Otherwise, enjoy Cannon Beach!

We recently stayed at the Lighthouse Inn. The accommodations were nice and our room resembled a small condo like space. There is construction ongoing next door, however, we were out for most of the day touring so it was never an issue. The bed was very comfortable and provided us with a very restful sleep. We stayed in an ADA designated room and the only thing ADA compliant was the shower. It would have been helpful if the shower chair was mobile and could be moved for the non-wheelchair using guest. Also, the shelves in the bathroom are really high and not on wheelchair level so they were not very accessible. This room is on the 1st floor so unfortunately, we could hear the upstairs guest stomping around which was annoying. Other than that, our stay was enjoyable at the Lighthouse.

Cannon Beach is a great town to walk around. Our place was cozy, decently priced and fit all our needs, Even our pets had baskets waiting for them. We had great weather and time out getting air and exercise.

Located on a busy road with lots of noise - at least during peak holiday season in July. The description of ‘front desk’ is very misleading. You have to drive 1.2 miles to a different hotel to check in — and to access the complimentary breakfast. If you don’t mind these features, the room’s interior, with all windows closed, is quiet and spacious.

The Lighthouse is in a great location; just across the street from the beach at haystack rock. It's a bit out of the downtown, but you could walk there. It was a bit of a bummer to have to drive to the breakfast location, but at least they offer breakfast. Overall, the place worked for us and our dog.

Hi Rocky S, thank you for your interest! As the other answers indicate, our breakfast is available at our larger sister property The Inn at Cannon Beach, which is 1.3 miles south of the Lighthouse Inn. Breakfast occurs daily for guests from 7-10 a.m.. There are tables and chairs in the breakfast area for use, or you are welcome to bring your food back to your room at The Lighthouse. We refer to our breakfast as a light buffet, with whole fruits, hot and cold cereals, a selection of breads and bagels(from our local bagel bakery--Bagels by the Sea), yogurt, hard boiled eggs, a rotating selection of simple hot entrees(such as biscuits and gravy,) as well as coffee, tea, and Juice. Both dairy milk and a nondairy alternative are available, and one of our breads and several cereals are Gluten Free. If you have any additional questions, please let us know--we're happy to assist! Thank you!
