Truely a gem in Cannon Beach. Excellent location, view and property. Rooms are very well kept, i haven't slept that good in a long time such a good bed! I think every room has a view of the ocean. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have stayed in the Flagship oceanfront studio suites the last few times we went to Cannon Beach for a little R&R. We've never been disappointed, because the suites offer spectacular views just steps away from beach. Location is literally a two minute walk to shops, restuarants and even a Market for supplies. Units are older, but... More

We enjoyed our stay at the waves. It was quiet and clean and just a short walk to the beach. Complentary breakfasts would be nice for the price. We would stay again. Definitely an ideal location for quick access to the beach in a quiet place to relax for the weekend .

We made our reservation the day of arrival so there were no ocean front rooms available. However our corner room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The desk staff were very helpful. They answered questions that helped us plan the remainder of our road trip and gave a wonderful suggestion for dinner. We only spent one night but would definitely return!

We've been staying here for over 20 years. We wouldn't think of staying any place else. The Flagship rooms are right on the ocean. You can walk everywhere. Very quiet and comfy. Beautiful ocean views. They have large ocean front suites for families.

It was a lovely place to stay, right on the beach. Sunset from the balcony was spectacular! The room was light and airy and the bed was really comfortable. After a long flight from Sydney, it was great to lie down and relax in such ambience.

We enjoyed being right downtown. We were happy with the staff and the room. The only thing we did not like in our particular room was a skylight that was practically over the bed and was too bright to sleep when the sun came up. Also there was a vacuum in our already small closet. Other than that we had... More

This is the second time that we have stayed at the motel and it is a great place to stay, right on the beach and downtown. My wife and I really enjoyed exploring and walking on the beach. We will stay here again in a heartbeat.

You are paying for the location (close proximity to shops/restaurants/beach), which is fine as long as you are aware of that. The interior was not very nice, the parking spots assigned to the unit were occupied by other cars (not the fault of the Waves per se, but an issue if you needed to be close to the unit for... More

The room was rustic but upkept very well. We spent 6 days on the coast and this hotel was by far our favorite stay. We loved the nostalgia of the room and the short walk to the beach. We slept with the windows open and listened to the ocean all night.
