Our original plan was to stay 2 nights at The Waves & travel down hwy 101 to the redwoods in northern California. Heavy rains in California & icy conditions in Oregon made us cancel our plans. We stayed two nights as planned in the Southwind spa suite which had a view of the beach and a nice study area for...

We stayed in a "Flagship Queen Studio #405. This has direct access to the beach from a decked patio area. Room has large Gas imitation log fire. Sitting area adjacent to the sea view windows for reading or just staring out to sea. A short walk to the Haystack Rock which was featured in the movie "The Goonies". Short walk...

We loved our visit to The Waves, Cannon Beach this past weekend. This time of year there are not so many people and we got great weather. Our Condo was lovely, it had everything we needed, I loved the extra comfortable bed and good sheets. We spoke with Paula at the front desk and she was very friendly and accommodating....

Visited in the coldest part of winter and the room was warm and cozy. It was easy walking distance to several restaurants and a brew-pub that had our play-off game. We were surprised that there were so many shops and restaurants compared to our last visit about ten years ago.

Great place for easy access to both town and beach. Park your car and leave it! Everything is within easy walking distance. Comfortable clean rooms. We've been coming here for 20 years and have never been disappointed with the service.

Again a wonderful stay at The Waves. Comfortable, clean, warm room with everything needed and more. We love the view, fireplace and kitchenette. They have also remodeled the bathroom which was also a nice update.

Stayed here for three nights and loved it. Enjoyed the sunsets from the comfort of our ocean-facing room, explored the little downtown, and walked the beach, all without getting in the car for three days. We will definitely be back.

Unit above laundry. Whole room shook during spin cycle. Walls paper thin could hear downstair neighbors. Had to stoop to see out the windows. View of ocean was between two buildings that looked about 10 feet wide. TV remote did work from bed. One bright spot, it had a fire place.
