My husband, grown son and I stayed two nights at the McBee cottages. The cottage was a nicely decorated, simple but comfortable room with a beach cottage feel. The photos on the website are a good representation. Parking was a bit tight but all guests had a spot, I believe. The queen bed was comfortable and quite soft for those...

Love these little attached cottages--great location 1.5 blocks from the beach. The property is a bit south of the "downtown" scene of Cannon Beach, so it's calm and away from the tchotchke shops and crowds. Bright white and cheery, a bit crowded, but everything you need. And they go out of their way to welcome dogs with a bone, a...

We stayed at McBee on three separate occasions. We like that we can get a unit with a kitchen so we can prepare some meals. There is also a propane grill and fire pit available out front, both of which we use. We try to get a unit that has a separate bedroom, which works well with two kids. The...

I've stayed at the nicer hotels on Cannon beach, but the last few times there i didn't have as big a budget, so i tried the McBee Cottages. it was perfect for me and my 12 year old daughter. They didn't have 1000 count egyptian cotton sheets or 24 hour room service. in fact it didn't have any room service...

My family had a fun fourth of July weekend at this cottage. The lobby was a couple of blocks away, but less than a 5 min walk. We had a few problems with the BBQ but the service staff addressed it quickly. The free beach towels, chairs, Netflix, and DVDs were a plus. I would definitely stay again!

A wonderful idyllic trip back to the 1940's. And a such a short stroll to the beach past lovely shingled cottages (check out the one with the two old rusty cannons!). We are looking forward to returning during the storm-season to bake a chicken in the oven and sit by the gas-fireplace and read books. And best of all, we...

This place looked nicer inside than it did on the outside. Has a cool rustic look to it but the rooms are very small and narrow so probably not a place you'll want to stay if you go with your family. There also isn't anywhere you can put your clothes, at least not in our room. Overall, good for a...

Dear Joe C., Thank you very much for your response. We appreciate your time to tell us about your stay. The McBee Cottages were built in the 20's and 40's and are a historical landmark in Cannon Beach. Some of the rooms are larger than others, so don't let that discourage you from visiting with your family. All of our...

We were very pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and brightness of these older units. Very cozy and handy to the beach, town and amenities. Made our 21st anniversary a special weekend. Nice basket of goodies for our pet, and great yard for play and barbecues.

We visited McBee Cottages for a quick getaway to the Oregon coast and wanted to bring the dog. Not only was he welcome at McBee, there was a special bucket waiting for him with treats, poop bags, a special towel and blanket. The kitchenette was just right for fixing quick meals before sitting in front of a warm fire. Proximity...

Just returned from our third trip to Cannon Beach, staying at the McBee Cottages. This time we were not able to get our favorite room, but we are always happy here. The rooms are lovely and clean; we bring our big dogs and there is always a nice doggy bucket for them in the room with dog blankets. The bathrooms...
