We just got back from a stay at Lake Creek Lodge in a log cabin right by the creek. Could not have been more perfect or serene, with fresh snow on the ground, a helpful and welcoming staff and a clean and well appointed cabin. Someone had cleared a path to the front door for us and turned on the...

We stayed in Cabin 7. This has been a resort since the early 1900's. I loved reading about the history. When you walk in there is a bathroom on the left down a small hallway. The Bed, Kitchen, and Living room are all one. There is a fireplace, dining room table w/2 chairs and one comfortable chair (wish there was...

After missing Camp Sherman for ten years we finally got a chance to be together in a magical place. The cabin was cozy and well equipped to prepare our Thanksgiving feast. We hiked and saw many deer and our five year old granddaughter could hike, play, and explore to her heart's content. Wondering around Lake Creek and over to the...

This is perfect for families, dog lovers or anyone who wants to be in nature but have a little more than just a campsite or bare bones cabin. We booked cabin #13 for a last minute trip in late September. The decor was mixed and a bit outdated, the cabin was clean and cozy with great down blankets but pillows...

Unfortunately, Lake Creek Lodge has become popular and also has lost much of its charm. Brighter lights installed at the camp have supplmented the feel of cozy with urban. The facilities, such as the rec room, are run down (pool cues broken, ping pong balls dented, ping pong paddles broken, etc.) yet the price is expensive. It's a situation where...

My wife and I just ended our annual one week trip to Lake Creek Lodge. The Camp Sherman area is one of my favorite places in the world. I love central Oregon. Perfect for the outdoor adventurer. We have been going to Lake Creek Lodge at least once a year for the last dozen years. We have stayed in cabins...

I went for a little retreat for three nights, just me and my dog. We met lots of families having a great time and had lovely walks around the property. My cabin was number 7 - the perfect little getaway with everything I would need to relax. The swimming pool is lovely set among green grass and pines, Comfortable lounge...

I'd heard about this place, but never been until July for a small family reunion. It's wonderful. It's quiet, low key, off the beaten path, easy, relaxing and not really like any other place we have been. With no TVs and no phones (and limited cell service) our teenager was forced to spend time with us....we swam, we played basketball,...

We had one of the oldest rooms, but it was lovely. Best sleep I had in over a week. Loved the staff - very friendly and helpful. This cabin reminded me of my younger years traveling with my family. What I loved was the quiet, with the sound of the creek.

Large variety of cabins, we stayed in one of the older units, in the front of the resort for 3 days. Excellent service, rustic cabin, clean and well maintained. Only down side for me was distance from the Metolius river. There are closer cabins available. Nicely run, dinner was average, with great service. Good family location with plenty of activities...
