Clean, comfortable, great location to my favorite golf course in Oregon. Robin and Kent are the ultimate hosts in friendly welcome, hospitality, and service. Love the view out of my room’s back window. This was my 2nd stay and I’ll return.
Management is everything. Robin and Kent go out above and beyond the call of duty to make everyone's stay comfy and wonderful in every way. We stayed four nights, and would live there if we could! When we first arrived, late evening, there was a touch of chill in the air. Robin had warmed our room by turning on the heater in advance. She even turned on the small wall heater in the bathroom! Our toes were toasty and our souls were warmed by her kindness. Robin told us about some recent weather history which challenged everyone in the area, gave us info on great things to do (the 4th of July was approaching). Most wonderful was a "treasure map" she drew for us, so we could find a magical garden in the forest! On the eve of Independence Day, she gave us a red, white and blue cupcake! The location cannot be beat. Right across the street is a market, gas station, and a great restaurant. Hiking, cycling, exploring is everywhere. Belknap Hot Springs is a short drive east on the highway. Old highway 242 is a great beauty, so if it's open, please gift this drive to yourself ... it goes all the way to Sisters, but go as far as you like, go slowly, hike a bit, enjoy the forest, then come back to warm toes and the affordable hospitality of Harbicks Country Inn. OH, did I mention luxuriously comfy beds? And the hot water ghost in the west wing?…
stayed one night breakfast lunch and diner restaurant and coven rice store across the street. perfect accommodations Rarely do I write a review but wanted to acknowledge Kent and Robin friendly and flexible highly recommend
Let's start out with the fact that the management, Robin and Kent, are the best hotel managers in the history of hotels. They are the nicest, most considerate, friendliest, most genuine people you could ever meet. They will bend over backward to make you comfortable. The inn itself is clean and tidy with generous sized rooms. We stay in room 11 every year and the shower has fantastic water pressure. Be sure to pop across the street to Takoda's for some great food. We have a group of 50+ bikers every year and they treat us like gold!
I locked my keys in my car miles away from the in and the manager, Kent, came out during a holiday weekend and helped me get them out. He absolutely did not have to do this; could have easily pointed me to a locksmith in Eugene. I'm blown away by the service and kindness offered at this Inn and absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
