We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if in Bend. Our room had so much space with the included living room area that had a couch, fireplace and dining area, plus small fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. The bathroom was spacious, and it was so nice to have a sink in the bathroom with another sink plus vanity outside the bathroom. The built-in bottles of Dani shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower were very user friendly, and the Dani products there and at both sinks had lovely, subtle scents (spoken by someone who usually prefers unscented). The complimentary craft beer or glass of wine at check in was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and we enjoyed our talks with the kitchen staff all three days as they were extremely friendly and provided wonderful tips about local hikes. The breakfast included delicious local coffee, tea, juices, milk, plain yogurt with homemade berry compote, small sides of granola, homemade breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and scones, among other things. We also really enjoyed sitting out on our patio high over the river each evening after a busy day of exploring, watching all of the paddleboarders and kayakers go by. The nearby bridge with local traffic didn't detract at all from the ambience of the outdoor setting. Our room was nearer the breakfast room than the front desk, so our patio river view was better than those by the front desk end of the hotel. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at the Pine Ridge Inn in Bend. A bit off the beaten path (i.e., not downtown), the location overlooking the river was great. The inn was quiet and the rooms were large and comfortable (worth springing for the river view). The area around the property was being redeveloped (re-structured entry to the property and "old" parking lot surrounded by a chain link fence) and I understand the entire property may be redeveloped in the coming years. But this summer, the service and our experience was great.

Actually it would easily get 5 stars except for the view or lack thereof. Had a River Canyon View Suite and called to make sure we could sit on the patio and look at the river. But when you stepped out on the patio (room #101) you heard and saw the highway bridge and if went to the railing and looked right you could see a sliver of the river. I'm not sure if there are any rooms with views because of the tall pines between the building and river. But the room was wonderful! Bed was terrific, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, nice sitting area, great bathrooms, lovely staff. Just disappointed they advertise a river view and I'm sure factored into the cost of the room.

We loved our stay in Bend. The view from our deck out to the river was a fantastic way to enjoy the delicious coffee each morning. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, particularly the ladies managing the continental breakfast each morning. Highly recommend this property for the location and quality of stay.

Friendly staff, king suite was a nice size for parents and two teens; nice to have a balcony. Did not pay extra for river view, but I'm sure that was nice. I liked the breakfast a lot and ate it on the patio overlooking the river. I think the hotel was more geared toward middle-aged romantic getaways than families based on the other guests. Not that much to walk to in the immediate area.

Just average room that needs to be renovated. River views are beautiful. All staff were very friendly and accommodating with the exception of an older gentleman that worked the evening shift. After a day out, we returned to our room which had not been cleaned (our fault). My wife went to the front desk and requested fresh towels. The gentleman on duty acted irritated and like he was doing us a favor to supply towels. When my wife returned to the room, i noticed that instead of bath towels, he had provided floor mats instead of towels. My turn to go to front desk and again request bath towels. Not a great experience as the gentleman behind the desk said that it was my wifes fault that we got bath floor mats instead of towels. After an exchange of words, i finally got clean towels. Because of the experience mentioned, i will not be returning to Pine Ridge Inn.

Of all the places we stayed, this place was superb in every category. The location was perfect -- riverview. Our balconies backed into the parking lot which provided tons of fresh snow each morning for the kids to make snowballs and snowman. All the staff I met were so kind and helpful -- from Audrey and Karlee in the front, Lauren in housekeeping, and Karen in the dining room. Karlee let the kids use the hotel's 2 sleds and 1 dish for sliding down the side of Wenago Sno-Park where they had the most fun of the trip. Audrey called me to let me know that Lauren found ski clothes left behind and will be returned by mail. As a going-away gift, Karen gave us a package of homemade biscotti. The suites are so comfy with a large bed and a sleeper sofa near a gas fireplace. It's so rare to have dual sinks in the bathroom. We all thought this place is the nicest.

We drove more than 4 hours to get here and walked into the lobby to be met by an older man (Dennis). We walked into the lobby without a mask and didn’t get a simple we are requiring masks while in the lobby instead we played a game of charades as he says nothing pointing to his mask. I returned to my jeep to get one since they didn’t have any on the counter. When my wife walked back down to the lobby and tell him how rude he was he started yelling and pointing his finger says how much of a risk we are to him. I contacted the manager through an email for her (MaryAnn) to contact us. She did after a week justifying his actions. I asked that she give us a call but she sent a second email saying she would be out of the office until after the holidays! She had time to write two emails but not enough time to make one phone call. We used to feel that we were a “guest” while staying there! Now they don’t care that you have been a customer for 10+ years.

The Pine Ridge Inn is a real gem and we loved every minute of our 5 day stay at this charming hotel. It is located above the Deschutes River so the rooms on the south side have river views. I highly recommend having a room overlooking the river!!! The beds were heavenly, and the same for the deep bathtub which was just perfect for soaking tired muscles that have been hiking, fishing and exploring al day!! The fireplace made the room so cozy too. Bedding & towels were nice quality and they leave large water bottles in each room & refill them as often as needed. The breakfast buffet was just enough to provide guests with a light meal to get started with our day. Be on the lookout for the family of deer that come by each day to try an reach the crabapples in the front yard of the hotel!!!
